Originally it should have been Jan 21st then it moved to the 10th Feb and then 20th March and now 27th March.
Mine was ordered in October through Alphabet. It was always forecast to be delivered today, 6th Feb, but it was pushed back a week. I had confirmation today that it will be delivered next Monday 13th! Like you, I am looking forward to a hefty BIK saving. For me its nearly £200/month.

Now just need to get home and work charging sorted..........rolleyes

I've already got a double 13amp socket outside so going to Remove this and extend the cable run further towards the car and just extend it.(Even though it will reach where it is just a bit tight.
Is the bmw box OK to be outside all the time? Or is it best to store it in a ip66 box?
ALOT of money extra for an extra 3 amp.

I wonder if any of these slip in April delivery and how that will affect the lease price with the new car tax rules.

Also, from April BIK rate will be 9% for anyone who wasn't sure... up from 7%

Surely for any agreed lease price it will be fine unless notified - at least giving the chance to decline at that late stage. Although I doubt it would be relatively significant.

Re the bik rate at 9%, it is only just more than the absolute steal that the current 7% is for cc drivers. For performance and tax advantages, the 330e is right up there regarding any options.

If in doubt, get the volvo diesel phev. Although I find it hard to believe any cc driver would take that option, purely because of how it drives for a minimal saving.

edit - minimal saving for those paying private fuel, given the inflated list price for the extremely dated diesel burning volvo.

iirc the charger is already ip65 rated, I've had mine outside for ~9 months now with no issues. Don't forget you're charging at 10A, not 13A and a dedicated charger will do 16A. Personally if I was fortunate enough to own my home I would be all over the subsidised installs, get a 32A charger for £199 for the future. Electric cars are here to stay but government grants are not.

Ordered mine yesterday:-

330e (obviously) M Sport
Glacier Silver (as the company prefer metallic so white was a no go).
Black Leather interior
Brushed Alu with pearl chrome
Interior comfort pack (what car does not come with split folding seats!)
398 Black Alloys

Going off what I am reading here and what I am told, 6 months seems like a norm expected turn around.
This is a pure company car in that I pay very minimal amount per month for this bik.
Looking forward to this being fairly punchy (obviously less so than the 435d and the 240i I've had) and cost saving monster this will be smile
Hope to see more reviews on performance (speeeeed and powah!)

I'm looking into an OLEV funded charger right now (330e arrives Monday). First quote I have from the Phoenix Works based on my "complex" install was £670 inc. VAT after the grant. Complex means running a cable from my understairs cupboard (1930's house but modern fuse box) up to the landing and along the direction of the joists to the front of the house. I've got Rolec coming the week after next to quote too. If they are the same price as PW, a mate of mine will be fitting a 13A socket on the front of the house instead! Something I could actually do myself, but you have to be careful of the electrical Part P regulations these days.

My car is hopefully turning up on 1st March (its available now but waiting for the new reg). I have been talking to chargedev for a home charger install. My install will not be standard as the distance from the fuse board will be more than 10 meters and not easily just clipped to the wall.

I spoke to them on the phone and they are happy for me to source and run my own 6mm armoured cable and they will then do the rest of the install as the standard cost. Worked out a route for the cable under the floorboards etc, this weekend I plan to try and run the cable and then order the charge point next week.

Not sure I can wait the next 3 weeks!

I ran my own cable for the Rolec install I just had done. It would have been a 'simple' install anyway so included in the £199 fee for the tethered cable 32A unit, but I wanted it run a particular way so DIYed it. Not connected of course, left that to the installer.

TBH, I think the OLEV funded installs are a total rip off - £700 (£500 grant + £199 from me) for a charger costing £350 retail? They probably pay £100 for them and pocket the rest. I get it costs something to send the sparky out, but the chap doing mine does 4 a day minimum.

Still, it was cheaper to me to have it done that way, just niggles a bit that they are taking the piss.

Let me know how the wheels look as I'm hoping they are more black than grey.

Hi

I'm getting an M330e in March. Can anyone tell me if the "M" badges on each flank and / or boot lid come as standard on the M330e, are they a factory extra or are they a dealer fit?

Many Thanks
Steven

If you have the M sport and haven't selected (or deselected as I think it deselected by default) then they should come with it.
Who ever you have ordered from should be able to confirm if they have chosen to have it deselected.

Mine is an early car (nearly a year old) and does not have any external "M" badges, just the e-drive ones on the c pillar.

yes the badges are now std, along with the edrive on the rear pillars. If you don't want them you can opt not to have them or use some dental floss once you've got the car.

Interesting.

I've just ordered a 330e (abroad) due for delivery early May (although I still have about a week to change things), and I'm getting very conflicting messages regarding the badging.
The E-Drives come on the rear pillars for sure, however I'm still confused re the M badges.
I have yet to find a photo of an M Sport 330e with an M badge on it, but they seem to think the car will come with one M badge on the passenger's side.
To be honest, I'm not sure where they would put one on the drivers side, as it would usually go where the charging cap is.

I have an m sport delivered in November. Ordered debadged so nothing on the boot but still came with m badges on each side and e drive on c pillar. Think there may be another de badge option to remove them all but wasn't catered for on LeasePlan system

Cool guys, thanks.

I was having a hard time imagining where the M badge would be placed on the charging cap side, but doesn't look bad at all.

Crazy thing is the guys at BMW still have no idea...
