Hello all. Great thread full of real world info. I ordered my Estoril blue msport with s/p glass and folding rear seat 2 weeks ago. Est delivery mid July. Time so start wishing my life away again. Had a golf gtd for the last 3 years so I'm looking forward to something less common and less tractor sounding. My first BMW too!(age 42)
I have just got my email to this morning from Leaseplan my estimated delivery date is mid July as well. Edited by Gummygas on Thursday 30th March 20:07

Beutiful! Same, colour, interior, and wheels as I'm getting :-)
I've noticed the vast majority of Astoril blue F30s in the UK have black interiors, which makes sense from a practicality point of view especially with kids (which I have), but living in a warmer climate as I do, I couldn't bare the thought of black lather, so Oyster it is, and I'll just have to work at keeping it clean.
Black leather is very forgiving (had it on the 5 Series), but have gone for Individual Chashmere (with Ash wood). I think it Looks amazing against Estoril blue - especially when the blue interior light comes on when you unlock the car Just hope I can keep it clean. es, very true about the jeans dye.
In fact, I noticed the driver's seat in the 440i at my local dealership (same combo of Astoril Blue/Oyster interior) is already suffering from that (not sure why they don't take better care keeping it clean).

I better pro-actively look into this jeans issue !

Mine's just had its 20,000 mile service. I asked about getting the software updated and got a phone call to say that they would charge for it. In the end they did it but I'm not sure it it's because the lease company agreed to pay it or Bmw customer service agreed due to a snotty email I sent. So in SAVE mode instead of stopping at 53% it now keeps on charging, but I can't see any other changes with the software.
My company is very short sighted and won't pay for a charger or my electric so I refuse to charge at home on principal as I already pay tax on free private fuel, so it doesn't often get fully charged, but over 20000 miles I'm getting 41.6mpg which for such a great performance I don't think is bad but I'm normal a fairly steady driver. I've had no issues at all ( although a friend that has the same car had to top up coolant twice and has done less miles) so all in all very pleased even if it is only the basic model.

Thats intersting, I had thought it was stupid that it only half charges the batteries in save mode. Going to test drive a Saphire Black 330e sport tommorow. May part ex my 2010 320d ED, see what Sytner can offer. Getting butterflies of excitement. Can't wait to be out of diesel and back to sweet smooth petrol. What sort of MPG you guys getting? Majority of my driving is town and will be doeable on the battery so I would imagine it would be quite high. Furthest I travel is 35 miles down the m6 to Tamworth to see my friends.
