Congratulations! Wow, those wheels go together so well with that paint, absolutely beautiful! Could we see some interior shots as well? Thanks!

Yes, what wheels are they? What's the spec on the car?
Wheels are the 18" V-spoke Orbit Grey Style 398. Only other extras are sun protection and pro nav.Andydf said:

Looks great. For anyone following this full thread, you may remember my car arrived with lots of swirling in the paintwork. Today I got the car back from Prestige Detail after having the paintwork corrected. It turns out that there was evidence of machine marks post painting and there were some nasty holograms in the paint.
Anyway, here is what a new BMW should look on delivery...An absolutely fantasic job done by Prestige, the paintwork has been corrected, Kamikaze ISM ceramic coating applied, and two layers of Poorboy's Carnuba wax ( applied by myself over the Ceramic - couldn't help it )
The colour is Individual Tanzanite and it is a pearlescent so flips in different levels of sunlight. These were taken early evening and the car looks Navy/Black, but when the sun comes out it goes a much lighter shade of blue with some purple. I'll add more photo's tomorrow if the sun's out.
legacywr - I think I speak for a fair few of us that think all of your posts are a little curt, especially this one. Appreciate the smilie and all that. Some of your questions could be ridiculed to be honest, like 'what wheels are they'...which are easy enough to find on the BM website but no one has said anything. I think the point of the '5 yr old photos' was to show the paint close up. Let's keep this about the car itself and those that actually have one on order
??
First of all, I didn't know what wheels they were? I haven't seen these wheels on the the BMW site when I have built a 330e to my spec!?? And, I find car manufactures sites to be a bit of a pain. It was an extremely fair question, I'm sure Andydf was happy to answer!? If you could please clarify Andy?
Secondly, I hope SteveJJ appreciates it was a joke, and I hope he hasn't seen it as offensive at all? And, I'd love to see full photos of the car!

Not a problem to answer, but they are there on the configurator unless I have my own special version First of all, I didn't know what wheels they were? I was thinking that your 330e would look really great, especially with those wheels, if you'd put M Performance side skirt decals on it.Here's an example:
What do you think? And yes, I'll be putting those decals on my Sapphire black metallic 330e when it arrives in a bit over a month

Yep, trying to get the paint close up. Its admittedly quite difficult to capture the colour and the forum alters the hue slightly when uploaded.I suspect this will be a rare colour, on any model not just the 330e. I was expected a lighter shade based on the configuration renderings, so hoping I can help anyone in their decision making by showing them the contrasts. Especially as the sun is quite a rare sight, and road dirt will build up quickly.

Looks very nice and very tempting, might have to go and take a look at the shop Here's an example:

I really like that colour, that's the most expensive colour isn't it?
Going back to the wheels, is it because I only configure a M sport, that I never see them?
They do look good in red! http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/b...

If you mean the red car they are a £165 option on the M-Sport “18" V-spoke Orbit Grey Style 398”. I thought about them for mine but they don’t look as good on the Configurator as they do in the pictures. Going back to the wheels, is it because I only configure a M sport, that I never see them?

Ordered my 330e through Lex Autolease back in early February and got a provisional delivery date in July. I've been following this forum for a while and when I heard there may be significant delays due to the level of demand I asked Lex to see if my order was affected ... luckily not and I was still due for a July delivery. Fast forward to last Thursday and it now turns out my order is affected and I should expect delivery sometime in December. Gutted doesn't quite cover it! Anyone who has ordered through Lex may be best checking with them to see if their delivery has slipped (I only noticed as an update was posted on the portal).
I'd gone for an M Sport in mineral grey with M403 19's and quite a few other toys. Still think I'll hang on and wait but I am tempted to look elsewhere.

After a bit of thought configurating, I decided on the 442s because the overall value in the plus pack suited me along with the brakes, HK etc. And I was happy enough with 19s because I have standard suspension. With Estoril & black grilles, the car might have suited the 398s better mind you.Anyway, it is built now so I should have it in a couple of weeks.
