If I had the choice I would grab a Rolec while there are still subsidies. If you fast forward 2 years it's quite possible you'll be in a PHEV / Electric car again but chances are the government subsidies will be long gone.
Unfortunately I'm a stuck in rent forever Gen Y so it's an extension lead out the letterbox for me lol.

Do you have the car yet?
The way it works best for me is to connect it inside the garage, I just took a small nick out the floor so the door closes fine, that way I just coil the car end up on the garage door handle when I leave the house, come back and quick plug back in takes seconds, because it's connected inside the garage there's no need to access it to turn it off and nobody can tamper with it either.
If you install a socket outside the garage only the car end secures in to the car, the other end is just a plug so it can be tampered with.
Might not work for everyone but it's ideal for me, Ive been doing it this way for 2 months now and just makes the whole charging process so easy. I actually bought a Roku box but then returned it after doing it this way
It's even less scientific for me as I just park the car in front of the house and shove the cable through the fanlight of the kitchen window & then plug it in next to the kettle! I did consider a BMW wallbox thing but it only saves an hour or so in charging time - and I charge overnight, so no point.

Oh dear, following the first top up at about 2000 miles, this evening, at 4000 miles, I've had my second warning of low coolant. I'm going to ring the dealer in the morning but I'm not happy that it's still working an airlock through the system...
Ive done 1500 miles and keep getting this message too, think it's a software or sensor issue, mine went in to the dealer for a software upgrade but didn't make any difference, took them 8 days to do it so im too scared to take it back!!!Happy_Harris1431 said:

I get a warning when I go round a long left hand bend on my way to work. Keep forgetting to top it up and don't get it on my way home, so probably still needs topping up Hi to all, joined today to add to the 330e debate
Just had a 330e M sport on demonstration for 4 days and really enjoyed the car. Tried my best to ring the most out of the economy charging it regularly on a 13a supply and at the end of the week was pleased to say that with my fuel reclaim rates on a company car I actually made a few quid!. Hoping this will improve further when I receive my car(will place the order next week) Hoping that when I can charge on a 16a supply I will get a bit further on the battery than the average 14 miles I have been seeing
The car I had was on M sport suspension on 19" wheels which I found far too hard even though I am currently driving an A4 with S Line suspension. Can anyone advise what difference 18" rims make to the M Sport suspension as it will be this option or delete suspension all together.
Would also appreciate any pictures of the Ferrite Grey wheels on your cars to help me in choosing my body/wheel combination.
Finding the thread very enjoyable and interesting and now very jealous of you guys who have received your cars. My A4 diesel has now gone down in my estimation!

I have it in Luxury trim on 18's and it rides very well, I couldn't handle the 19s either. Just had a 330e M sport on demonstration for 4 days and really enjoyed the car. Just a note that you don't get anymore battery with a 16A charge, just does it a bit quicker, 2.5hrs compared to 3.5 hours, you also need to buy a Mode 3 lead and Mode 3 wallbox if you want fast charge, car comes with a standard Mode 2 lead
Cheers

This thread makes me sad.
I was thinking I definitely wanted one of these as my next company car, but it was mysteriously missing from our list of available cars. Turns out the order time is currently standing at 12 months, and we're not allowed anything over 6!!!
Hopefully, by the time my current car actually comes up for replacement at the end of the year, this will have changed.
I'm in the same boat, although I managed to get a quote before they pulled it and it was bonkers cheap. Can't order it though. My car is up in September so I think I'm screwed.

Had my car over a week now and I can only say I am very happy and even pleasantly surprised with it so far. I had around 150 miles or so after collection and have done approx 200 since, mostly fairly local. Just had a 330e M sport on demonstration for 4 days and really enjoyed the car. First off, with the estoril paint, 19" 442m wheels and black grilles it looks great. Having had a few 3 series m sports I went for standard suspension again (due to the area I live) albeit with run flats and it is fine. Had sport suspension + 18s a while back and it was too hard. Surprisingly, it came with Eagle F1s fitted this time and has very low road noise for 255/35 rears. It handles well and I have not really noticed the extra weight.
Having driven BMWs for a long time and all 3s more recently, the 330e was a no brainer as a company car driver with no personal motoring contribution. The BIK savings for car and fuel are massive. But I can see already that the company will also save a lot of money in running costs. Luckily, I can charge the car at a public car park 150m from work and I have used virtually no fuel. The driving modes are excellent, easy to use and very efficient with the drive train. Touch wood. I also used save battery for a bit on the return home and it gave me a reasonable charge in the battery from 30 miles driving and I still averaged over 40mph. I will check the different consumptions and combined later but it will be very, very good for my usage.
The car has m sport plus, interior comfort pack, parking pack and folding mirrors. But by a long way, the HK surround is the best peice of kit added It is awesome lol.
Anyway, sorry for the lengthy post, hopefully it helps some of you thinking of ordering or awaiting delivery and others can give tips on differing issues.
Cheers
Thanks for the replies and pictures of your ferric grey wheels. I have decided to go for glacier silver with those wheels and business media as I am a bit of a technophobe. Only delivery I am being told is 1st qtr 2017. Which is fine for me as my car is not up until the end of the year.

Great forum everyone, its keeping me somewhat sane while waiting for my 330e. Was originally promised by BMW for April but now has a confirmed build slot in mid June . Went for Alpine white, with coral red interior, M Sport Plus pack, Media Professional pack, sunroof and heated steering wheel for my ever freezing hands!! Cant wait, its my first new from factory car.
I am curious about feedback on the MSport Vs non-MSport suspension. I had a 320d MSport on test for a couple of days with the 19s fitted which i assume had the MSport suspension fitted also and didnt mind it. In the past I've had a 58 plate Leon FR fro a few years which was pretty stiff which was fine with me and currently have a C220d (non AMG line) which is too rolly polly in my opinion. The 330e has been speced with the 19' 442 M on the M Sport suspension.
From a long term point of view, I would like to know peoples feedback? Its it work keeping the MSport suspension or deleting it.

Hi All. I'm due get my car next week, well, hopefully, the dealer has been really poor with updates. Really looking forward to it again, after getting very fed up during the wait. It's a lease though my Limited company due to the low BIK.
I wondered though if anyone has any advice on the insurance for the car? It's just two Directors and this one car, so doesn't really qualify for fleet insurance. The one company I've found that would quote with the company being keeper and lease company as owner wanted £2,900, which is a little more than the £230 I'm paying personally for my current C32.
