Placed order, order delayed, ranted at lease co and BMW, order brought forward. Lease co have been anonymous, BMW dealer really rather good.
BMW are refusing to speak to me, as they say I am not the customer, the Lease Company are , how did you get round that one, or did you just deal with the dealership and not BMW UK?Funkydunc said:

If I know i'm close to work and at say 6% battery the engine kicks in, even if I have it on Max edrive. What I would like it to do is to drain the battery close down to zero (as i'll be charging it in a few mins anyway) and then leave the engine running once it hits a low %. Is that possible?
I'm loving the e-drive economy game at the moment. I can't get to work and back on one charge, so I mix up the engine use with edrive and try to work out the best times to use both. On any long stretches of road I use the engine (Save mode), and then then put it back to Auto near traffic.

Try leaving it in auto edrive and let the computer work it out, it's better at it than you (probably). Make sure you're using Sat Nav.I'm loving the e-drive economy game at the moment. New commute pb for me. Bit for full electric but still great economy, mixture of A Roads and bath city traffic.

Hi all,
Just received some bad news from BMW regarding my 330e that I ordered as a company car on 29/02/16......
When I checked on 18/05/16, I was told the same dates that were confirmed to me when I placed the order in Feb:
Order status - 1100 (Scheduled)
Scheduled for Manufacture - 24/06
Scheduled for delivery - 27/7
However when I checked again yesterday (07/06/16), I was told that the date had now slipped:
Scheduled for Manufacture - 07/11
When I queried this with the dealer, I was told:
"BMW have pulled all of the build slots back due to other model changes at the moment however after speaking with them it is more than likely they will push them all forward again but we are unsure as to what date at the moment."
Really not happy with a 5 month slippage at such a late stage - the vehicle was due to hit production in only a few weeks time.
I suggest others check their orders too.
Two of my colleagues were considering ordering 330e's for their next company cars but are now seriously reconsidering.
Further discussion with the dealer today - Told that due to the limited number of build slots, BMW was giving preference to retail customers and because my vehicle was a company purchase it had been pushed back.Just received some bad news from BMW regarding my 330e that I ordered as a company car on 29/02/16......

My 330e that was supposed to be in production next week is now not scheduled until November and because of the demand this was unlikely to change.
I must say the dealer (Vines Redhill) have been very supportive but the handling of this by both BWM Group (UK) and BMW AG has been appalling.
Most of our fleet are VW/Audi and we never have any issues with them, even on some of the more unusual orders.
Really puts me off using BMW in the future. If I was told up front that the delivery was going to be Nov/Dec 16, I could have made an informed choice rather than being misled with timescales that BMW appear to know wouldn't/couldn't be fulfilled.
I wonder how many buyers who are being told of mid 2017 lead times now, will actually get their cars before the end of 2017?

Battery always stays with a few percent in it, have you tried going to work with the Sat nav set? Sounds crazy but it makes a big difference in your economy! I was getting 100mpg changing between max and auto myself but when I use the Nav and Eco pro I can get 148mpg on my 20 mile commute, very clever in that it knows a hill is coming up etcI'm loving the e-drive economy game at the moment. Has anyone figured out how to put a post code in to the basic Sat Nav? It wants to take you through the whole process of town, street, number etc!
I find it really easy using the BMW remote app. It uses Google maps to find the destination, so you can use Postcode, Name, Address, etc to seatch. Then you can send to the vehicle. You can then pick this up in Connected Drive/ My messages, and confirm the destination from there.
It's my first post on here so please be gentle!
I ordered a basic 330e SE with only extra being a wheels upgrade as my next company car. Ordered in February with an ETA of end September. I contact Genius chat every other week to get an update. Today I was told the build will start 25th July with delivery about 15th August.
It might be a coincidence that the date has improved but I thought I would share my experience just in case.
I'm looking forward to getting it even though it isn't a high spec as everyone's who has posted so far. Considering the tax costs being a company car it was a no brainer to choose and the grant available at the time also meant a reduced lease rate. Roll on August!!

Enjoy! I'm similar as the grant applied to mine so my trade up cost is tiny for a 330e sport with tints, wheels, leather, led headlights, shadowline trim and something else plus BIK is dirt cheap. Before the grant was applied my trade up cost meant BIK was £0 originally!I ordered a basic 330e SE with only extra being a wheels upgrade as my next company car.
