Ordered mine 18th Feb, m-sport in estoril blue with pro. Nav, folding seats, sliding armrest, heated seats and steering wheel and folding headrests. Ordered for delivery September due to my old car's lease running out then. Was built and ready for me to take delivery 23rd June and the company asked if I could take delivery of it and let my old car become a pool car.......start saving £240 per month and have a much nicer car than my vw cc gt, took delivery and am very pleased with it. Suspension is nice and firm but very comfy with it, reason for the cc was my old 320d m-sport on a 60 plate put me off m-sport suspension, can confirm it is as comfy when driving the cc but quieter especially in electric mode.

I found out today that my 330e is currently at status 9630 - Port of Entry! Very impressed with how quickly its been built/shipped, still scheduled for delivery 6th of July. What's everyone's experience of delivery from this point? will it really take another 10 days from here?!

Quick update, work 33 miles from home, 23 miles on dual carriageway and remainder split between 30, 50 and 60mph limits. To work I managed 83.1mpg and from work 91.1mpg both with full charge on start of journey. Travelling up to 80mph on dual carriageway. 94% efficiency with 61% electric range so over 19 miles of the journey on electric on the way home, needless to say I am very pleased, same distance covered each way but 7 mins longer to work. How is most people's experience with economy.

Just wanted to share some pics and excitement with all those still waiting for theirs to arrive. Mine got here a few weeks ago. I was so so so happy, it was early, arrived two weeks early in fact, by chance the day before a family visit of my brother (mechanic/massive petrol head) and classic sports car enthusiast father. It was the happiest day for me seeing their faces when I surprised them with the car. It's so quick and so refined and holds the road so well. She's is a Mineral White Sportline, the only option over standard spec is the 18" wheels. I'm most impressed with the varied driving modes, throttle response, handling, the way you can pump up the seat bolsters to hold you in the seats, ride quality, power, efficiency, looks, sound system (the standard one is still very good). Here are some photos:
Shiney from the dealership, 7 miles on the clock!

So poised smile

Must stop looking at her reflection in shop windows smile

Previous company car to new company car - side by side. It's like stepping into a rocket ship. smile

...Couple of things I am disappointed with:
1. The twin exhaust pipes look great, however upon inspection, the left one is capped. This is noticeable from a distance if you're driving behind the car.
.
Actually, the left exhaust tail pipe is not capped, it looks like it is, but look closely and you'll see it has a valve that opens in sport/sport+ mode. I guess it's more efficient to run one tail pipe in eco mode. How cool is this car!

And to be fair, how often do you drive at a distance behind your own car? hehe

Anyway, I'm hoping that as a result of Brexit, loads of people across the continent will be cancelling their orders for a 330e, as I've got until January for the waiting list to drop below 6 months (currently 12! frown ) if I'm going to be able to order one as a replacement company car...

Yay Brexit and economic uncertainty! Yay Spanish General Elections failing again! biggrin

Can I ask owners a quick question please?

If you turn the car on, ready to go, and then select SPORT+ mode, does the petrol engine fire up and stay on?

Just did a quick test. Foot on brake. Start button ON. Select D on the gear stick. The button for 'ecopro, comfort, sport, and sport +' doesn't start the engine in any of those modes. BUT, rocking the gear stick to the left (sport+ always on?) fires up the engine.

Enjoy! Mine is being delivered Thursday - sport line in white with the 18"s so good to see some pics of one.

Really wanted the msport but it wasn't available for some reason.. Quite annoying as I've added a few options which are standard on the m sport and actually mean the m sport would probably have been slightly cheaper even with 19's. Oh well still can't wait to get it

Thanks for the pics Ben.
Looks great and nice to see a sport line amongst all the Msports on here! (still 2 months to wait for mine mad)
I've ordered the same 18" wheels. Do they come staggered with 255 tyres on the rear?

My current 320d has nice skinny 195 tyres, so you can have quite a bit of fun with the traction off or partially off.

My 330e will be an MSport with 225's. Does this stop you having fun in the 330e, or can you still get the back end out?

Hi Everyone. Been following this page ever since I ordered my 330e in April and its been really useful and answered pretty much all my questions.

I get my car tomorrow, spec is
M Sport
Estoril Blue
M Sport Plus Package
Active Cruise Control

But what I am after is some info if anyone knows. the M sport plus pack comes with these alloys - 19" M Double Spoke 442 M Alloy wheels Bicolo...

Does anyone know if these are Diamond cut or not? I am trying to get some alloy wheel insurance but the insurance company say they are most likely Diamond cut, but the BMW lady says they are just normal, but was only 90%...

Any ideas?
cheers

Hi - sounds like we must have been on the same ship! mine arrives on the afternoon of the 5th smile - I couldn't stretch to Msport sadly, but have a few nice extras on a Sport, in Mineral Grey, with 18's.

I still cant believe it takes as long from start of build to dealer as it does from dealer to me!

excited all the same!

Mine finally arrives tomorrow as well - ordered mid-Jan so feels like a veeery long time coming.

Let's hope it's all it's cracked up to be - I've already had a F30 320D M Sport so kind of know what I'm expecting. The biggest let down with the 320D was the engine (and the lack of split fold rear seats impacted on the practicality) so the petrol/hybrid aspect is appealing. I'm approx 17 miles from work, so hoping for a big improvement from the current c. 27mpg average I'm getting with the Golf R scratchchin

Had mine a week today, manage about 19 miles on electric over a 33 mile 1 way trip to work and getting a minimum of 78mpg. When I start up it gives a range of 16 miles so I must regenerate 3 miles, I drive a little more carefully than before getting it but not much. Sure your 27mpg will probably get a 1 in front over 17 miles if you charge at home and work depending on roads and traffic.

Congrats! Feels like the longest wait is finally over! Tbh when I was selecting mine the m sport was the same monthly cost as the sport! Which I thought was a bit odd.

127mpg would be nice - man maths has been fully in effect for this purchase as whatever I'm saving on fuel is effectively 'paying' for my bike which was my compromise for giving up the performance of the R. So hoping to have my cake and eat it - 300bhp daily driver @ 27mpg av swap for 252bhp daily driver @ say 100mpg plus bike @ 400bhp per tonne for high days and holidays. cool

If you want to "pre run" the engine to get oil around the bearings after you press the start button just stamp the accelerator and she fires up. My only worry with the 330e is when you gun it the Cold Dry engine jumps straight into 3000 rpm and this cannot be good for it!! Jon
