It's a pretty pokey aperture. I imagine the front one is easier to load shopping into.
I think it was a mistake to go for the gimmicky glass roof and not make it a hatchback. Maybe they'll do a hatchback eventually too.

Well seeing as I couldn't put a deposit down early yesterday in store, I don't see the point now. 150k orders are current build of 50k cars a year is 3 years just for the model 3. Along with buikding everything else I reckon it will be 2020 before I'd get one! They say they are aiming to be building 500k cars by 2020 but who knows - they are notorious for missing deadlines.
Shame as I reckon I would have been in the low thousands early yesterday morning! I'll grab a second hand one before 2020 hopefully!

I'm in Boston at the moment and the system spazzed out because I was in America trying to put a deposit down but wanted the car delivered in the UK. Tried 4 times and it wouldn't work. If all 4 actually did work, I'll need a bigger garage! And some more money!

Thing is you're in the queue for UK RHD models which will be built years later than LHD. If the factory is producing 500K/year by then, they'll get through the UK production in a couple of months. So I don't think ordering yesterday, today or tomorrow will make much difference to delivery time.In any case the car looks great!

I think it looks pretty good, especially when you compare it to the current competition.
A lot can happen between now and when the UK allocation will be built, so I'm not worried about details right now.
Who knows, I might even be broke and have to get my deposit back!

It's a nice looking car & I particular like it in silver.
The front end doesn't look right without a grille, but it's not as glaringly bad as the Model X. It'll probably look better with a number plate on it.
I don't like the lack of a proper dash at all. It looks like they've just taped a 15" monitor to the centre console. I'd be surprised if they didn't change that; Sharp edges and all that.
