Thinking about it I booked my test drive online. I don't think I had to email them.

It's really putting me off - not sure if some kind of arrogance as sales are doing well - "car sells itself" etc.
Maybe unreasonable but I'd generally expect responses within a couple of days - pretty hopeless to agree anything with sporadic replies.
If you do get to the point of buying, don't be put off when they say they don't do discounts when spending anything up to £120k

There is the referral discount (£750 at the moment). To be honest I like the 'one price for everyone' system.

I booked my original test drive online, than had to cancel last minute, than was able to book a second test drive same way with no issues. Have now changed my S order to a X, just awaiting confirmation through mytesla account.

Also agree about loving the one price for everyone. On the test drive it was refreshing not to have the salesman push finance deals or go for a 'chat' with the manager.

Hardest part is now the long wait for the car to be built and delivered.

Drove past another P85+ last week on the M40, with same numberplate as mine bar the last letter! smile

Really do fancy a Model X 60D for the missus; range wouldn't be an issue, but it's a lot of money for a "run-around" to be honest! i£ currently looking more likely...

I've just received a referral code for £750 off the purchase of a Tesla following the order of my 60d. Give me a shout if anyone wants it (valid until 15th October).

Can't wait for my car to arrive - it's to replace my Discovery for commuting to work. The comfort and technology feel lightyears ahead.

Congrats! Did you confirm your order yet (if you have the option)? That might shave off a week or so rather than waiting for it to self-confirm.

Hi, the order is all confirmed now. I was toying with which model to go for so didn't confirm it earlier. The sensible head won in the end, the 60d. Didn't seem worth paying the extra BIK going forward.

My car is showing as In Transit now. My delivery manager called to give the update, apparently once it gets to the east coast they'll have a clearer idea of when I can expect delivery.

Hi,

have sent you a PM jimbojones81. I'm going to go for a 60D after much deliberation. If anyone has a referral code I could use it would be very much appreciated.

thanks.

What's the typical PCP costs on there or contract hire rates?

You can play with specs on the Tesla site to get an idea. I think the rate is about 6%.

Good news, the DM just called to say that the car is making good progress across the Atlantic and I should be able to pick up around the end of the month.

If you want quick delivery they have some zero mile cars in stock around the country - lots of white ones (ugh) but some colours too!

I can't see why a factory order car in LHD would come any faster. Maybe you could get a stock car from the EU?
