Not to be the purveyor of doom and gloom but if the market value is really that poor it won't take much of a prang before the car is deemed BER (Beyond Economical Repair).

What sort of deals are being done on the new Zoe Z.E.40? Is there an increased cost associated with the increased range?

I would have thought the range makes the Zoes far more usable for a lot of people.
Literally just rang up for a price....copy/past from the lease car thread..

Just got a quote from Renault Leicester who have some kind of deal going with the Facebook owners group.

New version (better range)
£500 deposit
£234 car
£75 battery
24 months
Total = £329/month

1st Gen version
£234 deposit
£232 car+battery
24months
Total = £232/month

That's for 7500miles.

When you're original deal was £150 dep then £155/month this is just too much of a jump for me to be comfortable with.
Yeah... I feel the same way. Especially when you're renting the battery which is the only change from the previous model. Are the offering the same dealer contribution on the new ones?

I wonder whether you could get the old one and have the battery upgraded...

Yes, completely agree. A rather innocuous prang could write it off. My fault. Should've taken GAP

We have hit 12k miles and its due back in Jan, so were now not using it. My cunning plan to hand it back on 11,750 and save on the service went west as I forgot to tell the Mrs of this cunning plan.

I've just seen this on the offers section of the Renault site... A very different finance deal to the one they were offering on the 22kWh version :/

In the early days the finance deals weren't as great as they ended up, in the grand scheme of things this new deal isn't bad, it just looks awful when compared to what they got down to.

You are getting double the distance now.

Unlike me, but I clicked through to a Nissan advert for 'new Leaf offers'. Quite surprised with the result:

Acenta non Flex. £189 down, 36 x £189. £6804 over 3 years.

I've contacted them to clarify whether this is a 24kwh or 30kwh model, as the price seems quite competitive, if not quite the deals of 2 years ago.

What's the annual mileage on that? Seems like a comparatively good deal!

Yep, I'd go for that depending on mileage. Can you post up a link?

I'm guessing the figures above apply to the 24kWh model.

My leaf goes back in December and the supplying dealer phone last night to see what our plans were. They were too late as we've ordered an ICE car until the Tesla model 3 makes an appearance.

The dealer (Chorley Nissan Group) is offering (30kWh) -

Thanks to my local dealer it turns out I have a 3 year deal on the car to go along with the battery deal... I'm not fussed, in fact given what's being asked for a replacement it probably works out in my favour. Only problem is my GAP runs out in February so I'll need to see about organising some cover for the the extra year.

The 36 x £189 Accenta deal is for the 24KWh model @ 6000pa

Called into Nissan last night for a look, sales guy emailed me this morning

£200 up front, £194.05 per month for 8k miles for a red (fastest?) accenta or £209.96 for metallic.

they also own the neighbouring Renault dealer so were able to check when my deal on the Zoe is up, and If I take the deal will arrange for me to swap cars over on site before my contract expires and they'll hold it there for me. Because I'll officially own 2 EV I qualify for the charger grant so can have a second non-tethered charger FOC.

I'm tempted.
