Handing the Zoe back

Mannheim inspector was supposed to contact me week beginning the 30th, still nothing. I haven't driven the car for nearly 2 weeks to try to keep it clean and avoid putting any more miles on it.
Still no contact from Mannheim, phoned them this morning to see what is happening and despite them calling and emailing me initially, they've no record of my car! Replied to their email to see if that stirs them into action.

'my' car is up at Manheim Colchester next week, quite tempted to bid on it. Has anyone seen any auction results for a Zoe ?
How does the auction work if they are still subject to the battery lease?JPJPJP said:
Any auction results for the Zoes known yet?
Nope, turns out as a member of the public you have to go to the auction to bid, which I don't have time to do for what would be a very low bid. I think the auction is at 10:00 so if anyone has a Manheim trade account they could lookooo000ooo said:

They phoned me back to tell someone would contact me on 20.2.17 to arrange inspection & collection, someone from the office phoned me on Monday to tell me that someone would phone me this week LOL. Wish they'd hurry up as I've another cheap car lined up but can't do anything until they confirm collection as I can't change the insurance over until I know when.Replied to their email to see if that stirs them into action.
Mine was finally collected on Thursday, turned out RCI had cancelled Mannheim and sent it to a local auction house, except they hadn't actually instructed them at all. After a few phone calls it was inspected and collected. Guy was happy enough with 1 small car parking dent and a bit of light scratches on 2 alloys. Only fly in the ointment was no service record in the books which could have cost £175 but a quick call to the dealer's had it emailed across and forwarded on.

I've had similar problems. Random letters requesting money, even default notices after being advised to ignore "automated letters". Their incompetence also affected my credit score it seems, which they're supposedly trying to correct. I've been offered a small amount of compensation but may well still refer to the FOS.JPJPJP said:
Electricvehicles@rcibanque.com is where to send an email stating the collection date of the vehicle
The people on the other end of that email are pretty good and, ime, it seems to be the sort of thing they end up dealing with more frequently than they should
Cheers....email sent. The people on the other end of that email are pretty good and, ime, it seems to be the sort of thing they end up dealing with more frequently than they should

I would.I would make the case that if they had come and collected it on time, the mileage would be under the 16k
But because they were late, but required you to keep the car insured / roadworthy etc.
They should let you off
Give it a go
