Public Charging Point 'blocking'

Ha I'm still the ultimate sinner and run a diesel. It was enough to pique my interest though yesterday when it looked like there was only a few charging points and the potential to block each point for weeks on end.Need to look at them differently and treat them for what they are.
If they’re destination chargers then as long as phev or bev cars are parked then no issue and no need to rush back imo. Shopping centres, cinemas etc. Should be treated in a first come first served basis and I’m not going to duck out of a meal to then try and find another parking space so someone else could get a bit of charge in my place.
Rapid or fast chargers are a different kettle of fish and shouldn’t be left for hours on end or even beyond the charging period. Common courtesy should apply there but yeah...
