Well this was the EQS Vision which obviously looks better but probably too impractical to release as was.

If they had of got it looking more like that then....sell like hotcakes etc.

Most people can't get past the looks, that I understand but it's a pity because it's the most aerodynamic road car produced. It's a hatch too which must be rare for a limo, room for luggage, bikes and dogs. The four wheel steering makes it a cinch to park, plus self park options.

As for the paint options well Merc usually get grief for their limited palette so at least they are listening. I'm sure you could also pay for unique paint under Designo. Dark green with tan hide would be great.

Most of the reviews I've seen on the car rave about it. Not seen anything terribly negative about them. What are the weak points?

If I was loaded and looking a leccy car it would be this, Taycan Sport Turismo or the not yet released FFRR electric depending on reviews when it comes out.

Yeah, but that sloping roof for aerodynamics means that it feels cramped in the rear when compared to any other luxury saloon from a headroom for tall passengers perspective, and the ride is a bit thumpy when compared with other luxury saloons too, and the brake pedal feel is awful. I've driven one for about 1 hour with the serious intention of buying one. I also found the tech inside overwhelming, and I really do like tech. Like any car, it has weak points.

Yeah reality vs the concept was a big let down. They should really make something like the “Vision” as a coupe.

Thanks for clarifying. Yeah actually I'd read your previous comments about the ride and was surprised by that as ride quality is often praised. Maybe compared to other EVs rather than other lux sector cars like S class. I do think the S580 hybrid is a good car for both comfort and the EV range of 60 miles should be adequate.

Had forgotten about the brake pedal thing, mentioned in reviews and a big oversight of MB to sign that off. I wonder will there be a fix/recall for it?
