How many miles did yours get delivered with? Does anyone know what’s acceptable for a pre reg lease?

Also, what’s the reflection? lol
About 200 odd as it got delivered from Exeter. Honestly, wasn't bother what it was delivered with.

The reflection is the back of the dash being reflected in the windscreen. It's a tad annoying.
Ah cool, thought that might be the case and yeah, likewise, not bothered.

The entire dash or just a binnacle? Just wondering if it could be covered with alcantara or something to reduce reflections.

What colour did you go for Luke? I’ve got a red one coming week.

Got Hyacinth Red too. It makes a nice change from the sea of drab grays and silvers...

The reflection is nothing compared to the crap I get on my admittedly short legs when I get out. It has a sidestep that isn’t and it gets filthy.
As such I’ve not used it for 2 weeks while it’s been wet and muddy.
Oh / blue prem plus / 17 miles when collected.

After 40 months and 37,000 miles 'my' EQC is at the end of its business lease today. I didn't think I'd say so, but it will be missed. Occasionally frustrating on long journeys just because of the extra journey time involved in charging up but overall it has been a great car and the 3 years has whizzed by. The mileage has been poor by comparison with other models (2.5mpkWh), but it has only needed one set of tyres over this period and one return to dealer to reset a frozen Sat Nav - a common fault. Would I have another... not without a longer range and a faster charging time, and whilst it doesn't affect me, the depreciation is a shocker, at circa £1,000/month, far more than the lease cost.

BeeGT it would be interesting to know what has replaced the EQC?
Last year I was going to pull the trigger on a purchased EQC when Merc were offering £9k sweeteners.
I decided that the EQC was just to big for my needs as a city car daily.
thanks.

You should have gone for it. It's not too big on the inside...

My replacement is an iX3, admittedly as a model it's been around a long time, but for the £/month it has an excellent spec, offers another 40 miles usable range over the EQC and charges at a quicker rate. It's also the family-sized motor we still need. I gave serious thought to i4, Mach E Premium Extended Range, EV6 and Q4 but they all cost more and/or lower spec'd and were on a lengthy order time (except the Mustang). If I hadn't needed the interior space and bigger boot I'd have gone for Polestar 2, which was by far the best EV on a test run.

Thanks for the info. Size wise it was the external size that I was not happy with.
My current daily surprised me and passed its MOT . Even though its not ULEZ complaint I 'm going to stick with it since I have another vehicle which is ULEZ compliant.

When replacement does come then currently I have on my list Tesla M3P and Merc EQA. Both of these are currently a tad too expensive as a purchase so having the extra year might work in my favour.

I have started the rejection process on my Premium Plus. It doesn’t work and they have no inclination to want to fix it.

I can’t go anywhere without low coolant coming on but neither can I top it up. It’s done 420 miles mainly driving back from the dealer.

I was astonished when my local dealer just didn’t want to know, raised a complaint and nothing just it’s under review.

My expectation was more urgency than a 5 week wait to book it in and no other option.

I’m bemused by the entire episode, I can’t believe they don’t give a toss that a brand new car (17 miles) failed on the drive home and they won’t look at it for 5 weeks.

I was told by a pal who works with MB to drive it near to a dealer, wait till the low coolant comes on and use the SOS facility where they are obligated to sort it straight away.

Hi Dave. Why not simply take the cap off and put it back on again? Sod the dealers...

‘It doesn’t work’… a well known and errant dashboard message that is easy to make disappear. Sure, it shouldn’t happen, but worth rejecting the car over?

Mine has come on twice in a year but I was aware of the issue before I bought it. Had an updated cap put on about 4 months ago and it flashed back up within a day or two but haven’t seen it since.

It lost a lot of coolant and they said to get it checked before driving far.

Cars fine, fix is easy but Cheshire Oakes attitude has angered me so much Mercedes can have it back. Complaining to Merc resulted in absolutely no response. Incredible.

Can you reject a car because a dealer is rubbish?

Yes because it’s broken - anyway I did a tiktok that seems to have shook them up a bit.

Cheshire oaks were my garage as well, it was 6 weeks wait for a courtesy car but when it did go in they managed to fix it.

I drove it 1,500 miles with the warning light and had no issues. Since the fix I have done about 3k and it didnt reappear.

Cheers - I’m ok with keeping it. I’ve asked MB finance to refund the wasted month :-) I’ve no chance but I’ll push it.

This is a bit random, but has anyone found the EQC attracts negative attention? I have a black one, I got called a wker first in it (for no reason, I was just sitting in traffic), 2nd numerous comments about it being “flash”, today I got followed for 3 miles by a police van and stopped for no reason. I know it was no reason because the policeman’s reason was “We have been stopping a lot of Mercedes drivers recently to advise them on the recent spate of thefts”. Well that doesn’t explain the thorough search of the car’s records and holding me for 15 mins then asking me if it was nicked!
