If the auto wipers don't wipe often enough to your liking, just hit the button on the LH stalk whenever you feel they should wipe and they don't, that'll teach'em. I'm serious.

OP

400 mile round trip is what the M3LR was built for IMO.

Best way to do it, IMHO, is to set off fully charged then supercharge for maybe 15 minutes at the 100 mile point on the outbound and then same again on the return.

Then charge the car when you get home.

In reality you could probably get away with just one charge stop too especially in summer.

Sound like you’ve figured them out perfectly, they’re an in-joke by Tesla.

I’ve done a few 1,000 mile trips and it’s absolutely fine. Just follow what the satnav says and it will tell you where to charge and how much. You don’t have to think about it. The car does it all for you.
I was in the south of France last year at a Eurocamp.
I had a nice chat with an old couple that drove their Model 3 from The Netherlands, a total of 850 miles. They didn't plan much, an overnight stop half way there just for a nice break. Pretty much just let the car pick the best route.
