More layoffs this morning. Not sure how many yet but a number of people posting on LinkedIn that were fired this morning.

Tesla have a giga factory in Shanghai producing 1m cars a year. I don't see how the cars built there cost less than BYD etc

They don't. Many Chinese manufacturers aren't even making a profit on the EVs they sell.

its his usual bullstu MO, he will do anything to try to keep the stock price up, sales collapsing and stock building up sack a huge number of staff, press really hard about some BS technology that will never come, member autonomoy day, member how all our tesla's were going to earn us 100k a year self driving uber while we were at work lol, hes still 10 years away from getting his cars certificed, remember that he ragged on lidar, well lidar cars have been given self driving licenses

hes such an asshat, and thats before his unhinged ultra right wing posts on X

and i hate to think how much hes pissed up the wall on the stupid HGV and cyber truck, he could have easily trippled his sales with a low cost hatch back and more importantly zero tail pipe emission final mile vans that every city on the plant need, just need to plonk a new body on his roller skate ...
