918 Spyder at Jackson's

Heads up if you've not passed Jackson's (jersey) recently.

As the title says a 918 Spyder is currently in the showroom until early Jan. It has been bought locally.

It really is truly stunning. Seen the original concept up close and production models in passing, but this was my first proper up close look at a production model.

I just love the detailing on this car.

If I had the money for the latest crop of hyper cars, this and the LaFerrari would be top of the list. P1 leaves me cold.

I wonder how much this will be seen on local roads!

Never mind. Get some pictures of it if you're up there. What colour is it?

Don't suppose it'll be used as a daily! although you could probably use it on batteries most of the time given the size of the island.

Was on a two day track day in August at Le Mans. There was a P1 there and rumour had it he had a 918 and a LaFerrari on order - if I had that collection in the garage I would sleep in it!!!

I can't understand why you'd cheap out and not spec it with the Weissach package.

My business partner has one and it's an epic car - feels faster to 100 than a P1 or LaFerrari.

I believe the owner of the 918 also has a P1 in the garage to keep it company. Duno what else they own.

One should buy something unique like a racing yellow Boxster GTS. In fact there is only one other Boxster GTS in Guernsey which means they are rarer than 918s in Jersey and you get change out of £60k!
