Yes yes I know! How can they predict 2 plus weeks ahead when they have trouble predicting the next day!!! BUT, according to some web sites the weather for the 2 weeks starting from this Friday is not looking good. Next week is defiantly wet and at present they have the same predictions for the week after. So it looks the paddling pools this year might fill them selfs.

I can remember seeing a few guys with a life raft full of water last year so perhaps that might be best to sleep in? except with out the water.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, perhaps if we all use mental thought we might just get the sun to come out.

It matters not. Three years ago it p*ssed down all weekend and we had bloody great time.

The bars dont close if it rains so whats the problem?

...............................................DITO.Maybe that means i,m gonna get even more pissed this year as the bars are one of the best places to stay dry...I think?................plus u don,t tend to feel wet if your out of it!

Despite the bravado, a wet Le Mans isn't as nice as a nice, dry, sunny one. The race cars switch over to rain tires of course, so the effect on the race is somewhat minimal. But if it is cold and rainy (like three years ago) then you are outside in the cold and damp, and you are wet, your car is wet, your sleeping bag is wet, etc.

Wading pools lose some of their appeal if it is pouring buckets and 45 degrees F...

Does this ruin the experience? Of course not. But I really hope it doesn't rain...

Dusty, enough with the weather reports already !

Its still feckin 2 weeks away & unless the Frenchies are infinitely better forecasting the weather than everyone else in Northern Europe, they probably wouldnt give you better than 50/50 as to what the weather is going to be like this sunday.......

Its hit and miss mate, the Monsoon changes in April, and May & June are statistically most likely to get rain, however it can be short violent rainstorms that are over in an hour, or you could lose days to it + the water tends to be a bit more unsettled which can affect snorkelling / diving visbility.

Still as we all know, 93.647 % of all statistics are incorrect.........
