I don't care if it's a Lola in JPS livery, or any of the other 'its not a real Lotus' comments. My Esprit is made up of bits of landrover, marina, mini even. I don't care. It's still a great car. So is this. THIS IS IT !!! I'll certainly be following this car at Le Mans this year.

In the case of this car & team Lotus have done NOTHING WHATSOEVER. I would have thought Lotus fans would be embarrassed or upset that the company's Motorsport efforts amount to nothing more than sponsorship.

Disagree entirely. I see a link with Oak engineering as a route in to LMP akin to their current GT2 efforts.

Unless I've missed a story, OAK are being badged by Morgan, not Lotus, who are badging Lola coupés. The way they're going, I'm not going to be surprised if I turn up at Houx Annexe in a months time and fine the ground painted black and gold.

A great looking P2 despite not being a roots Lotus. Chatted to the Evora engineers last year and was hoping they'd return - maybe next year. Good to see as always that P2 seems the over subscribed category.
