Hi Looking to go to the Classic, are there any slots still available?
Yes, there are still a few spaces left on the PH/1st Tickets private site for the Classic (have sent you a PM with our contact details).

Yes, we have a small number of camping spaces left on the PH/1st Tickets campsite. As there are seven of you, you will need two pitches. I will send you a PM with more information about costs, etc.

I've bought some last minute tickets from a chap who unfortunately for him (but fortunate for me!) couldn't make it this year. The ferry has been changed to my name. The tickets were bought through 1st tickets. Does this automatically mean that I'm in the PH camping area? I'm Bleu Nord, Rang 11, place 55.

Cheers thumbup

Unfortunately no it doesn't.

The package that we transferred in your name is a standard Bleu Nord camping package, rather than the PH/1st Tickets private campsite.

That's right I'm afraid. Facilities are for the exclusive use of those camping on the private site.

Sorry all sold out now. You may be able to get some last minute on the for sale forum or at the circuit.

A Big thank you to all at 1st tickets from a Le Mans virgin , a very well organised camp site , clean toilets ( considering the copious amounts of beer and scorched food consumed) powerful showers , always hot , good security and an altogether friendly atmosphere on site with all the campers .
The only downside for us ( Silver Tiguan & DB9 to identify us ) was the incessant thump thump of a set of bass speakers in an encampment just outside the PH compound , this was day and night , and in the end caused us to break camp early and drive to Calais Sunday instead of Monday , the only thing was after we had started to dismantle we found out that the group of noise makers were also packing up, so Sunday night would have been peaceful .

This was totally outside the control of 1st Tickets , so in no way are we blaming them , but perhaps representation could be made to the ACO to control this sort of selfish behaviour in future

The race , to be so close to the action , ride the big wheel , visit the museum, walk the track , stand a arms length from the Winning Audi in the pits and watch practice wheel changes during the free pits visit Friday , were all things that will remain in our memories for a long time .
CHEERS TO 1ST TICKETS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We were just to the south of the PH tent (3 large chaps, black XJ) and the disco tent was next to us.

Right next to us!

At 0330 on Saturday we 'convinced' the sods into turning it right down (well, ok, off actually!) We also did the same with a car next to the PH fence who were playing the Le Mans radio station even though the race hadn't yet begun.

We're not aggressive chaps by nature but there is a limit and 'Boom boom shake the room' at 0330 is ours.

Come Saturday night all was strangely calm - apart from the cars :-)
