Nice little meeting especially considering it was during the very popular Classic British Welcome and the open pit lane! Glad to see all the gloom and doom about the blocked road outside didn't come to fruition. Well done!

A thanks from me as well. For the majority of the event I (lanky sod in a PH shirt, shorts and Tilley hat) was standing in the middle of the field having cars sent my way to forward on to a parking spot.

Everyone was very sensible and did exactly what I directed them to do.
Especially grateful to your patience when I was directing traffic out of the site. I tried to make it fair so no one had to wait very long to leave while keeping things moving.

Thanks for making it enjoyable to run smile
Great Friday Service! I've got some stop frame/time lapse stuff to upload later on as well.

Not read through this yet, but after the 3 hour delay on the ET we missed this totally! Particularly annoying.

Yep, you did a sterling job Switch, thanks.
Great meet as usual and excellent turnout. Loved the charity Volvo with ironing board spoiler. Also the short chopped green mini which I also saw had managed to get onto the track during the invasion and drove the finish line and up to Dunlop bridge. No idea how he managed that but good work!

Thanks for the kind words thumbup

We had a great time, and it seemed we became a local attraction as the pedestrian attendance was very high indeed.

Thanks so much for making it a success, and for being so well behaved too. A great afternoon and a real highlight of our 2012 Le Mans.
me to one of your lot on exiting...

"i supopose i should take it easily and quietly being a nice ph meet''

''you still have tread left though...''

''fair point''

We couldn't allow any antics on the grass as the area was loaned to us by the ACO, outside of that if you happen to slip off the clutch abruptly we can't be held responsible smile

Speaking of which, a big thanks to all who behaved in the field. Hiring land during Le Mans is neither easy or cheap and part of our obligations of hire was to return the field at 16.30 in the same state as we received it (you may have seen the PH team with bin bags acting like wombles)

One or two were asked not to spin the wheels on the grass but did so anyway, I guess to look cool to their mates after being told not to. Shame really as we host the events for you at no charge and don't ask for much in return. We tidied up and handed back to the ACO as planned and hope to return in 2013 so a big thanks to the 99% of you who drove carefully once on site. Without good behaviour, venue options become limited.

Sorry. Competition stuff started earlier and went on for longer than we thought, by which time G and I were knackered, and thought we'd have no chance of finding you in the guiness tent.

Was a good little meet. Well done for organising it. Traffic was fine (but we were on foot). Burgers were excellent. The queue was just a good place to stand and watch the cars arriving.

We really enjoyed ourselves on Friday, it was glorious just sitting enjoying a cold beer watching beautiful cars.
Thanks for organising and a big thanks to Stuart for making us welcome at our first PH meet and taking the time to come and chat to us (we were in the MX5 T-shirts).

Another thumbs up from me (and two mates) - came on foot.

Good place to wander round with some beers and a burger looking at some decent motors.

Particularly liked the R8 GT, the well used looking black Cerbie and the green yank barge (can't remember what it was).

Me too. When he spent about 10 minutes flicking through the user manual trying to work out how to do launch control as he left before eventually just driving off in first? Not so much... hehe

Anyone notice the M550d btw? That's going to be a rare sight I would think.
