Me too. When he spent about 10 minutes flicking through the user manual trying to work out how to do launch control as he left before eventually just driving off in first? Not so much... hehe
I've been wanting to mention that since we got back biggrin

Flat rev x 5, queues building behind, crowds gather expectantly.......drive off slowly.

I managed to find the cigarette paper that separated the cosworth powered Escort and the megane/clio parked opposite the exit........lovely slide but a whisker away from a clip.

Great event. Next year will have to be a TVR for me.

Anyone notice the M550d btw? That's going to be a rare sight I would think.
I had a nose around it, stealth tastic.
I saw it, but didn't really look round as it looks the same as every other M Sport 5' really!

Yes, I heard that too... it will be interesting to say the least.

I passed the guys just north of the Boulogne toll on Sunday evening too - it looks as hilarious on the road as it did parked up biglaugh

Plymouth Fury. It won, easily! The Cerb was nice too (not the black one that looks like it has never seen polish or any kind of care and attention (but fair play for using it), but the other one to the left as you went in.

Had no idea you were there Andy. Had a good chat with Simon Fox at the event. We could've had a little watch forum event...

I was hoping to link up with Simon, but we failed - not unusual at Le Mans in my experience.

Thanks for the kind comments about my Plymouth.

I thought the Event really captured the varied nature of Cars that make it to LM and am looking forward to seeing some more at the Classic Service.

In the name of blatant self promotion here's a Piccie of me and the Fury trying to look moody up at Dunlop in 2011.

Bah Humbug! Drove my Cobra 2049 miles over the last week from Aberdeen to Le Mans. Attended the CBW and this event, all "sans roof" eek Must have had the car photographed hundreds if not thousands of times, but so far the only photo I have found on the web is from our brilliant resident photographer at BsM hehe

Oh well, will see if the '34 Rolls fares any better in a couple of weeks time!

Edit: Typical, the next thread I opened after posting this was the PH 24 Heures one and there is my cobra in the lead photo. Proof I made it does exist! hehe

Were you on the road on Thursday? We saw you on the Autoroute I think. Looked and sounded lovely - we were the PH convoy; Garlick's TVR, an S4 and a Merc E class estate, all stickered up.
