Chill. 5 days is about as good as the met people can do. As a pilot I am briefed in person by them everyday. They frequently get the next hour wrong let alone 10 days!!

Accuweather is the worst forecast, it always shows rain if there is a slightest chance. Follow the WeatherSchool reports on youtube they are the best and the guy who does them is probably the best forecaster in the Country

Look what happened to my car a few years ago when it rained, so I really need it not to this time so it does not fall to pieces

I must admit AccuWeather are usually extreme as their report currently suggested 4 days of solid rain, However when you look elsewhere others all seem to suggest a mix of Rain Showers and Sun.

Sealed up the strange holes in the Chimaera footwell, and testing today proved they were not needed in the first place. Phew.....

We're getting closer although probably still too soon to get an accurate forecast but it is looking more positive! A few spatters but nothing to cry about.

Meteo.fr does not agree with that; neither use confidence limits but I would put a 7-day forcast at about 30%, at best.

It is pretty crap today, if that helps.

May have to anyway as the only way to fit all the camping gear in is to remove the passenger seat smile

Well, it's been raining here all day, the central heating is on since it's but 15C, and the rest of the week looks to be but warmer rain.

http://france.meteofrance.com/france/meteo?PREVISI...

However, I went up to see how Beauséjour looked since it get's very boggy, and they've cut the hay which is wet through and a mess as usual, but alongside the main track the ground is surprisingly firm given the weather we've had. However, looking left down towards the hedge it looks decidedly boggy.

I've just fitted new wipers to my car which guarantees us glorious sunshine for the whole weekend (I also just bought sun-block but didn't think I'd mention that...)

Rain-X is your friend.

It also means your wipers won't be trying to destroy that lovely Le Mans sunvisor strip you have just fitted :-)

Don't mind a bit of rain - makes the racing interesting. I have yet to pitch or break camp in the rain any of my five Le Mans trips. That might be a pain.

That's cool as! Shame it's not going to Le Mans this time, love seeing the older more interesting stuff, rather than city boys in V8 Vantages (no offence intended to those who own them!)
