3000M passed MOT this morning. Some fettling planned for next week. Hoping the torrential rain outside might have stopped by then!

Looking forward to it doesn't even come close! I packed up work today to take a sabattical but will be at the Classic on a working trip biggrin

The Chim goes in for a service on Monday at Castle, to make sure it is ready.

I just wish I was at the main race this weekend as well though frown

I'm stuck in blighty waiting for my wife to give birth. No movement yet! Missing the LM24 and CPOP this year so thank god for the classic. Can't wait!

I've been through this twice in two years. 9 months of bloody aggro and essentially telling you that you are useless and then for some baffling reason they expect you to hang around for the crescendo of the birth. Nutters. wink

I do recall years ago a Le Mans a guy in a group next to us got a call that his wife had gone into labour. His mates took him to the air strip and the staff put out a request for help. A client of one of the pilots gave him the go ahead to fly the guy back to Blighty on his tab.

Just watched the movie to get in the mood, the opening scene with Steve McQueen looking over the circuit really gets juices flowing.

Went in 2010, annoyingly not getting to go this year, can't wait for 2014. Have to be in something with aircon, in the traffic through Rouen with the outside temperature gauge reading 38degrees centigrade, bit warm!

Half of the usual crew are in LM now for the 24 but we'll all be there for the classic this year too.

I'm plodding down in the Landy. So I'll be the team Recovery vehicle and general load lugger this year.

Am I the only one then who will be quietly hoping it will rain for the next 3 weeks hehe

A great barge. First time I went to Le Mans I took my Grandfather's 1973 Daimler Double Six. I put a years worth of miles on it in a weekend.
