In this again this year, must be getting soft or old as I am worring about the weather.
Never had a hood on this in 25 years and been going to most 24hr and Classic races.

Just a little heads up folks. Went to the village fo a coffee an hour back and got stopped in one of the regular controls. You never know when or where they'll be these days. Paperwork in order, but for the first time - and it's only been law a week - they asked if I had my two breathalysers with me. They weren't being awkward about it, but were reminding people that it is now law. I did have them, but the way they were behaving it would have been a warning, no more than that I think.

Oh, and a local Lotus owner is feeling sorry for himself this morning, I'll bet. Got caught yesterday between Arnage bend and Mulsanne bend at 187 kph in a 90 kph limit. Licence taken off him on the spot, and car impounded and taken away on a lorry until the case comes to court in December.

Non-Frenchies don't need them until November as the law isn't being enforced until then for visitors

I got mine through work yesterday, got a pair for under a fiver. Think the ones your required to have in France have to be approved by their regs dont they (we also have the complete Ford travel pack on offer at present for 25quid, dont know about other dealerships though)?
Btw I had a play with a keyless entry car the other day, I found the range to be only a couple foot away....you tried yours again?

The tyre profile helps too, that's just perfect.
Too many cobras have massive rims shod with ultra low profile tyres.

Yeah, they need to have the "NF" certification. Mine came from eBay and cost £2.50 complete with miniature copied certificate. Probably phoney, but not too bothered.

Yes, tested the keyless. Range is about 12" if you are lucky on the driver's side (LHD), about a meter on the passenger side and about a meter and a half at the back of the car. It doesn't work at all from the front so best option is to pitch tents in front smile

Slightly off-topic but relevant to what I will be travelling down in, Lowdrag could you tell me how muddy is Blue Nord looking at the moment and how do you think it will be over the weekend??
