This is not good! Theres no way i will get time off on summer solstice weekend!! This news has ruined my 2013 already :-(

This is quite annoying. I am organising my mates Stag weekend, and we had chosen those dates on the basis Le Mans was the week before! He won't be happy we will be changing dates.

s  t. My Girlfriend's birthday is the 24th. Might be a late dash back across the channel on Sunday night unless I can convince her to come too. Failing that I have 10 months in which to get dumped!

For me this is good news. Son (who usually comes with me to Le Mans) has his birthday on the 18th, Father's Day is 16th, so the one week postponement will not clash with anything involving grandchildren!

I mean losing a bit of skirt is one thing, but losing your best mate would be a tad hard to deal with. I'd get over it obviously, but you know what I mean.

So the FIA are recognising the importance of LM24 finally. Hopefully for 2014 they will fit F1 around the LM24 dates!
Possibly a better weekend for me but I'm going whatever.

Possibly a better weekend for me but I'm going whatever. That will never happen. Fu@@ing ACO had bowed to FIA pressure to change the date. My lads 2nd birthday so that's me fu@@ed for going thanks a bunch.

Really pleased with the date change. Means I don't miss key family birthdays weekend. Would have gone anyway but means I now get to go to both. Great news!
