Stuart, just comfort yourself (I know you aren't a selfish soul) in knowing that no matter what the weather, we shall be tucked up nice and comfy in all weathers smile In fact, we don't even have anyone staying this year due to business commitments, so a free and easy weekend.

If I declare that the official PH Le Mans weather forecast and close the thread, it'll definitely come true, right? smile

Well that's settled then. Marvellous. I can now start to plan the more important aspects of my trip. Do they sell Cornettos in France?

It is interesting when you view their "about-us" page that no senior personnel seem to have a meteorology background; only in selling weather-based services.

Given the www.meteo.fr currently seem unable to forecast accurately, much beyond about 3 days, you should take that website's detail as fanciful.

My advice would be to expect changeable, but cooler, weather. That is pretty much how it has been so far this year, though it is dammed hot today, before the thunderstorms start tonight and bit cooler for the test weekend.

I prefer the more country wide radar forecasts...

Well they've mown our grass, so hopefully any rain which does fall between now and Friday Service will dry up easily enough.

All. I have asked Gavin @ gavsweathervids.com to do a special video forecast for Le Mans. It will be posted on his events page after midday on the 9th June

I will post the link once up on his site.

Good old Gav, he's a TWO regular and glad he's back posting his vids too now.

I'd like to see him do a Le Mans video.

6.30am Sunday and raining steadily. Saturday evening the mother of all storms which flooded the village to the depth of a foot in places, with the restaurant becoming a swimming pool. Yet yesterday morning's forecast was for a nice weekend. With all the technology they have these days you'd think they could at least get it right 24 hours ahead.
