Not here it isn't - and it's the local one from the aerodrome

http://france.meteofrance.com/france/meteo?PREVISI...

However, here at 1.40 the wind is rising, the humidity 88%, the rain continuous and you can see the forecast for yourselves.

I spent the morning at Mulsanne where the golf club called off the competition due to flooded fairways and greens and of course lightning. Went on to see the marshals at the second chicane and had to have a push to get the car out. Not seen it this bad since 2008. It remains only to get as wet inside as outside.

I don't mind the rain, so long as there isn't actual standing water on the pitch.

I have sent an emissary out to get a second ground sheet for some insurance.

I'm in London, glorious sunshine.

My friend is in Hamburg, moaning about 37 degrees heatwave.

We're all travelling to armageddon style hail and floods.

Still stupidly excited biggrin

The sun is out, the sky is blue
There's not a cloud to spoil the view

And let's hope the next line doesn't apply.

It drains very well, I know that. Quite far up the hill towards the airport, and fairly chalky soil.

The standard iPhone weather app has improved this afternoon, did show solid rain on sat and now shows sun with showers and sunday / monday sun with the odd cloud. Lets hope it keeps improving. Still cant wait!

Seems to be showery now. Monday night/Tuesday morning was torrential rain. That said the showers are bloody heavy today though fingers crossed it does improve. Warm though, very humid.

Now that my passenger has decided to fill half the DB9 up with Brompton, I'm a bit stuck for space. Full on wet weather gear, or chance it? scratchchin
