2005 was a scorcher, my first year, and if anything it was soo hot it was not enjoyable, so I like a good mix just not the floods of 2007 or 8?
2003 was a scorcher slept under the stars it was so hot

The clouds are rolling in though. Looks mean. Hopefully it will miss us!

I'm watching live qualifying on Euro Sport. Looks like it didn't.

Watching Eurosport as I type and the circuit is not too bad. We are five miles from Mulsanne and we are in the middle of a deluge. This could be one of the most technical and interesting races I can remember, and a friend and I have a bet that less than 25 cars will, if this weather style continues, finish. I think I'll win

Currently 21c here in Swindon and only 18c in LeMans frown, I've been 9 times and until recently the weather was nearly always hot and sunny there.

It has been for the most part lovely today. Quite humid, periods of sunshine and, crucially, no rain. Until now. It is lashing it down right now. frown

Lucky it didn't last long smile It is meant to be raining at the start of the race tomorrow though, so that should be interesting.

That's fine by me Tony. I'm heading down to Les Sables with the family on holiday on Friday morning, so I'm watching the weather conditions with delight!

Good to see you on Friday.

Well, that was excellent. Now it's all over and I'm back home, I can safely say without cursing everything that the weather was superb! After very dodgy forecasts I can't believe how good it was from Thursday to Sunday, sure the occasional monsoonish shower but never extended rain and it never got wet enough to cause issues on campsites or anything. And just enough rain to keep the race interesting too. Awesome!

Dry thursday and Friday. The odd bit of rain in places sat and sun and lovely today.

Will pretty much ignore forecasts in future. From the awful outlooks it turned out really nice. Not really hot but alright.

The weather today, Tuesday, the first day when no-one is actually there in Le Mans is 21 degrees sunny, no cloud, no rain just glorious sunshine. I would have bet my house on it.
