Nothing fancy this year, an 02 freelander. Came in handy last year with all the marsh like campsites and even had to tow someone out a mud pile lol

Yes, I'm being serious. I know the Bug will be on display at the track and is doing the Supercar Parade on the Friday..
We're going on the tunnel Thursday morning.

took it fora run over to Wales yesterday with grumpy off here. Was good not having to stop for fuel every 100 miles. Managed 180 yesterday and no need to fill yet smile happy bunny

This is our first time going to Le Mans so still trying to get our head around different things - I presume there are other topics out there to cover the boring stuff like breakdown cover, insurance, ferry vs tunnel and so on - so I won't derail this thread with things like that!

Back to the cars, there are three of us going in our main group - myself (Aston), my brother (S5) and my dad (Ultima):

Is there a main PH convoy or meet-up or do people just do their own thing generally in smaller groups?

Your dad has taste (and balls).

Most seem to go in small groups. If your dad is my age he will need to stop to (relieve himself) fill the tank a time or two.

If you have not booked yet I think you should do it as soon as possible.

My carriage.

Balls for having the car or for going to Le Mans in it? Would you expect issues then?! This is to anyone I guess - are there any major issues with ground clearances or things like that on the ferry or Eurostar?

Love the car - were you at the factory open day last year?

Balls for both.
There can be issues with ground clearance so I book a place in the coach section of the train as less ramps. Never tried it on a ferry. The ramps are sometimes a challenge in a Discovery!!!

Yes, I was at the Factory open day last year.

Excellent, look forward to seeing them.

How do you join the supercar parade?

Am not sure my Tuscan 2S will qualify?

Arriving on Friday morning for a short weekend this time, then heading to the N24 for the following weekend via the D-Day beaches and WW1 battlefields. The car's LHD, which is handy for these trips.
