Stickered up for Le Mans 2014!

It never raced at Le Mans in this livery. The DHL livery was run by Penske in the ALMS (2005 - 2008, not sure they used the same livery all that time).

In 2008 Team Essex and van Merksteijn Racing took part in Le Mans in a RS Spyder, van Merkstijn winning the LMP2 class.



2009 Team Essex won the LMP2 class at Le Mans with their RS Spyder, while Team Goh reduced the ex-Van Merksteijn one to smithereens....

Just Google a local vehicle graphics or signwriter (there's loads all over the country) and e-mail them a picture of what you want (in your case a Jag XJR-9 I guess) along with a description and some rough sizes and they should be able to sort you out.

Its my first time to Lemans this year. I've mocked up my idea on photoshop. Design was originally used on the Ferrari 512S Coda Lunga of the team 'Ecurie Francorchamps'. They finished 5th at Lemans in 1970 when all for the works Ferraris dropped out. The car also features for a split second in the Steve McQueen film!

The car is now purple, so we're thinking something Cadbury's related. The only other purple scheme we can think of is the way too obvious XJR-14 Silk Cut one.

I was hoping no one would mention them! Had toyed with the idea of making them as well as some 'stick on vents' for the bonnet!!! Trying to figure out how to make a rivet effect for the sill too?

Or am I going to far now?

I'd say go for the lemans theme and do the silk cut Jag look! Would suit it quite well.

Oh no!!!! 2 months to go and just as I decide on my sticker design for the F355.... the clutch master cylinder develops a leak!!!! Panic!
