Made me laugh how many of the stickered up drivers felt the need to swiftly remove decals of pink penises from the back of their vehicles on our ferry back home. I never thought I would see so many getting frantically rubbed off...

Still fully stickered and heading for the Nurburgring 24! No pink penises though.

I'm not sure if it's too subtle though!

Thanks for the Martini Suggestion.
Saw you on the way back on Monday, could see you from way back in my mirrors as you passed. Looked like you were doing sedate leptons. Hope I didn't get in your way. biggrin

Car nearly packed not that we can take much! We are ready for chocks away at 1000hrs tally ho. See you all down there and have a safe trip.
Sadly I believe it was this one I saw bonnet up on the hard shoulder of the M1 at about 12.45pm today frown

Hope you got it sorted?
And I'm pretty sure I spotted you today on the sliproad on the A43 towards Towcester? With the bonnet up again?
Hi yes it was i again after a very eventful couple of days. Loved it and the 6 break downs made it a great adventure. I last breakdown at Towcester was the last as i ended up on a trailer back to West Yorkshire its looking like distributor problems. Thanks for all the people that stopped when we over heated in to Le Mans on Thursday.

This was our wagon for the trip. Not as exotic as some but plenty of room for 4 of us along with a ton of gear.

We followed you for quite a way on the journey back - I was driving the black Prescott stickered XJ. Your roof box didn't seem to be slowing you down much!

Nope, we had a ferry to catch as we had already missed our first one thanks to Rouen. smile The two Jags did make us laugh especially when we saw Prescotts fat face in the window.

Bit late now but this was my ride down. Stopped for a night in Mont Saint-Michel on the Wednesday. Managed to ruin one of the door stickers so only the passenger side was properly done. Saved the 24h from the drivers side and stuck it on the bonnet at least.

I think I was doing some of the driving at that point (in the black Jag) and though that we'd overtake you quite soon. Turns out you were making much better progress than I was anticipating! hehe

In Danish "Fart" means "Speed" and "Kong" means "King" so it translates as "Speedking" you met some of my fellow countrymen there... they would have approved even if it would have been better as "Fartkongen"

Thought I saw you on the A12 this morning just before a horrendous queue near Chelmsford..?
