I can officially join this thread! This year I had assumed that I would not be going to Le Mans, due to my wife having our baby 5 months ago. Fortunately my wife is awesome and the other day announced that she has no issue with me going! Just booked with Speedchills at Beausejour. Not my first choice of site, but this was all that's left with us booking so late and I'm just happy that I'm going to be there! (frankly I would have accepted a hedge to sleep in).
Similar situation to me, only I told her before she conceived that under no uncertain terms would I be missing another year baby or not! Our second son was born 31st Jan '14!
Forgot to plan ahead for our firstborn - due date was mid-June...
Told the wife that first babies are almost always late, that I'd still be going to Le Mans as normal, and to phone me to let me know whether it was a boy or a girl if it should arrive while away.
24h was great as always, and our son arrived a few days after returning home, which was great too.
Didn't forget for the next one, so our daughter has a birthday in November... smile
Wife is definitely a keeper - 17 years and counting, while our son is coming on his 3rd Le Mans 24h with me this year, and he wouldn't miss it for the world either. biggrin

4 weeks today and I'll be there! Stickers ordered today and digging the tent out the loft to see if all the bits are still there after my last trip.

I tend to nip to the local campsite and grab a handful of pegs before even looking in the bag, as im sure some of my crew eat them or something each year.... that or the Monday morning's crack of arse get up, with a bunch of jaded individuals with impaired vision (Kronenberg induced, may I add) is perphaps condusive to leaving some behind!

EXCITED NOW!

It's getting close now, stickers ordered, spoke to my friend in France who we are calling to see to make sure he has plenty of beer in the fridge, will be putting tent up this weekend to check it, just need to survive another 16 days of work smile

Stickers arrived - less than 24 hours from Stickers 4, I'm very impressed!

How early can I sticker up the car?

Most of mine have arrived, just waiting on some black and white stripes.

Mine will hopefully arrive today. For those that use their car they are taking to LM as their daily drive how early will you sticker up? I'm heading out on Friday AM and will probably sticker up on the Monday or Tuesday before but I've seen some cars stickered up on the road way before in the past.

Most my stickers should be here by next weekend, but I think I'm going to wait until June to sticker up! Luckily my car isn't a daily driver, although it will be parked infront of my house.

Can't wait for LeMans, plus we're going in two motorhomes this year, so bound to be some shenanigans there.

I think I'll leave some meat out in the sun and hide some tent pegs to recreate the LeMans experience till then.

Picked up our tickets/camping passes from the post office today. Just opened the packet and feel like a kid on Christmas day!

Really looking forward to going back after a few years away, especially as it seems like we're gonna get a proper battle for the overall for a change (too many audi benefits during my previous era of going...)

Bring it on!!!!

The car I'm taking is mine, but my wife's daily, due to me having a company car. She's a Deputy Head at a Primary School. I'm stickering up the weekend before we go. She's got to drive it to work and back on the Monday, maybe the Tuesday too.....

Same here. I'm busy the weekend before Le Mans, so I guess I'll be stickering up a full fortnight early...

To me how early depend on the level of decency you are applying. My RAF type will go on straight away as they are not offensive to any one.

4 weeks till lunch washed down with a few beers at Harlequins before heading to the track for the start wink.

Stickers have arrived, just purchased auto toll tag for the car, next mile-point will be switching headlights over to LH drive, then purchase Euros, the excitement builds.
