Adding this for any future queries because PH is well-regarded in terms of Google.
The app is OK and functional in terms of being able to access timing/position info, replays and live video/track positions, but that doesn't mean it is optimal.
The lack of adaptive portrait/landscape viewing is dumb in this day and age, and the layout of the timing info leaves a lot to be desired, on iPhone at least. Proper re-orientation would help this enormously.
It's also pretty battery hungry and I watched my phone go from 58% to 47% in about 15 minutes of heavy replay, live stream and live timing action.
£3 for 1 race is a bit steep (or £16 for the season - WTF?!), but then if you've already paid £7 for a mediocre baguette and £4.30 for a pint of fizzy piss it seems almost reasonable.

They were promoting this app heavily at the 6hr WEC race yesterday.
Unfortunately the woefully bad EE mobile coverage at Silverstone meant I couldn't send a tweet or picture message, let alone download an iPhone app.
Exactly this. Unfortunately I think it will be more useful for following the race at home.Unfortunately the woefully bad EE mobile coverage at Silverstone meant I couldn't send a tweet or picture message, let alone download an iPhone app.
