Any thoughts anyone ? I've been doing a little bit of research and the following seems to be the most predicted.....

"June could prove to be a tricky month to nail down with no really clear signals from the expected pressure pattern, so low confidence at this stage. Currently with a weak low pressure the CFS forecasting model is suggesting a wetter than average month is likely. Temperatures countrywide are forecast to be near to, or slightly warmer than the long term average."

So, same as 2008/9/10/11/12 and13 it seems.

As I love the idea so much, I'll keep on repeating it every year. wink

I'll wait for Kiter42's cat to predict the weather by either entering his tent via the front or via the rear entrance biggrin

(prediction may or may not be very accurate)

As long as it's not the same as 2007 I don't mind really!

Over the years we've had it all... rain, hail, wind, sunshine.

2009 was hot and dusty, with a massive downpour on the Monday morning as we left. Hoping for the same again. smile

A long term LM mate of mine said that one year at LM it was so hot people were sleeping outside. Was that 2006 or so?
I've only been going since 2009 and we've had some terrible downpours in that time - last year was a driver's parade washout!

2006 in France was very very hot. 2009 I slept outside as it was so warm.

Lat year there was a really good (ameteaur)? blog site where some kind chap did long range forecasts for LM, silverstone, etc etc. I'm hoping that he does it again this year.

I can't even remember if he was accurate or wildly out, IMO it just added to the excitement because the forecast changed every day and added to the "countdown to launch" feeling you get when starting to put stickers on the car...

06' was blistering! At 4am the tent turned into an oven, I think the coolest night was 26°c! Some lads on MB managed to cook a few eggs on foil on the tarmac at lunch time hehe

2005 was the hottest followed by 2006. My mate Rob slept outside next to a generator.
