Just been informed by email that my cabin on the Pompey to Le Havre crossing night boat 11 June with DFDS has been cancelled because of a change of vessel anyone know what the problem is?

I also got the same email, I,m travelling on the 4th as I'm going to Normandy first before I travel to Le Mans. I think its because there is a change of ship, I phoned up and cancelled.
I rebooked with Brittany ferries form Portsmouth to St Malo, think it was £60 mor expensive but I didn't fancy spending all night on a ferry with no bed sleep

It seems the Norman Voyager is now been leased to Brittany ferries and DFDS will now operate the Seven Sisters ship on the Pompey Le Havre crossing, I have copied and pasted this :- From 11 March 2014, the Norman Voyager will be chartered to Brittany Ferries and renamed MV Étretat. She will continue to serve Portsmouth to Le Havre on Monday to Friday, The Monday crossings will be Freight Only. She will also run a weekly return crossing from Portsmouth to Santander on Saturday/Sunday.

We had an Easter overnight crossing booked on Norman Voyager, booked in September 2013.

4 weeks ago we got the E-Mail telling us we no longer had accommodation. New boat has less cabins and they were re-allocated for people with needs/children/random, not in order of reservation.

I whinged . . . DFDS covered the cost of us going the following morning on the Brittany Ferries Fast Ferry (Cherbourg rather than Le Havre but didn't make a lot of difference on the other side, timing made about a 5 hour difference in arrival at destination). DFDS Customer Services were very helpful. Probably wouldn't have used DFDS again if they hadn't resolved it.

Quite liked Seven Sisters on the way back, didn't feel packed even at Easter and two floor bar/atrium at back end was pleasant.
