People on beermountain have queried the calor gas bottles crossed out on the poster and had an official response....
ONLY BOTTLES CONNECTED AND SECURELY LOCKED TO CARAVAN / MOTORHOME SYSTEM WILL BE ALLOWED!!!
That means taking a loose calor gas bottle to power a camping double hob / grill and a gas BBQ won't be allowed. Which is exactly what we've done for many years! Luckily this information gives us time to incorporate a quick release gas connection to the motorhome 'system' which hopefully gets round the new rule?
Here's my post from last year near the beginning of this thread that outlines the campsite situation. Rumours have it that someone threw a calor gas bottle on a bonfire a couple of years back and that combined with the 'fill a bucket with gas and light it' game that has been played for years around the campsites pushed the ACO to act I guessONLY BOTTLES CONNECTED AND SECURELY LOCKED TO CARAVAN / MOTORHOME SYSTEM WILL BE ALLOWED!!!
