Did anyone else notice they were dishing out 2012 styles?
Most upset to discover three of mine are dated 2012!

We were in the ACO, and only had 2014 ones. I guess they were trying to offload all the ones with the old logos they've got left over.... Maybe they worked out how drunk the purchaser was and then gave them 2012 one if they were inebriated enough? Most upset to discover three of mine are dated 2012!

They've been doing this ever since the re-usable deposit cups came in, but it's kind of the point. If you want it, keep it. If you don't give it back and they re-use them both during the year and across years. Most upset to discover three of mine are dated 2012!

Look at it another way - if you want a full collection and missed out on the 2013 LMP2 winner cup this year you have a chance of picking one up next.

I got a 2010 one. Do I need to drink less next year? Spare tyre said:
Some rotten gnome nicked mine, frustrating as they really wind my wife up when I give them to visitors to drink from
Yep - I got warned 'not to bring any more of those back....' one or two might have followed me! They're useful when we've got quite a few visitors round - especially in the summer. Although I don't collect each one from each year religiously.Gassing Station | Le Mans | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
