Has anyone got a spare Le Mans glass that they were serving the beer in? I've lost mine and want to get another one. Willing to make a donation to next years fund if anyone has a spare??

Ah, there were at least 4 more than that - each one showcasing the class winner from 2013. I have the LMP1, LMP2 and GT Pro ones.

Did anyone else notice they were dishing out 2012 styles?

Most upset to discover three of mine are dated 2012!

We were in the ACO, and only had 2014 ones. I guess they were trying to offload all the ones with the old logos they've got left over.... Maybe they worked out how drunk the purchaser was and then gave them 2012 one if they were inebriated enough?

They've been doing this ever since the re-usable deposit cups came in, but it's kind of the point. If you want it, keep it. If you don't give it back and they re-use them both during the year and across years.

Look at it another way - if you want a full collection and missed out on the 2013 LMP2 winner cup this year you have a chance of picking one up next.

I handed in my 2014 style for a refill and the young woman made a special point that I got it back even though they were filling beers for 'stock'

I've got from 2010 so will no doubt get a 15 + 16 during the classics. Also got a couple of none dated cups and even a moto gp cup.

If only your tradition involved buying ones with beer in, rather than visiting every beer tent to see what they had and buying empty ones. You know we'd be more than happy to empty them for you!

Some rotten gnome nicked mine, frustrating as they really wind my wife up when I give them to visitors to drink from

Yep - I got warned 'not to bring any more of those back....' one or two might have followed me! They're useful when we've got quite a few visitors round - especially in the summer. Although I don't collect each one from each year religiously.

I got a 2016 one this year, but didn't realise there were that many different designs so will need to be more observant and take a close look at mu collection from the last 2 years. Should the price be cheaper if you return a cup as I'm pretty sure I got charged 7 regardless
