I'm on the Thursday 11:20 Eurostar (anyone else on that?) also biblically excited! First time for me
This http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... might help... 40 hours to go for me.
Going to practice pack the MG later then realise half the stuff I want to take won't fit....never mind.
Really looking forward to this. I shall be taking a scenic route after getting off the Eurotunnel and stopping somewhere suitably rustic for lunch I hope.
Let's hope the weather is kind!

Well I feel suitably unorganised after reading this!
I go Friday am on the tunnel and haven't even thought about packing yet. I was just going to throw a couple of pairs of pants and t-shirts in the boot along with a sleeping bag and a case of beer.
Do people really do test packs??
I'm now worried that I should be doing some forward planning!

We had absolutely no idea if everything was going to fit in the Twingo, by slinging in the absolute necessities we have got an idea of how much room we have for the less necessary!I go Friday am on the tunnel and haven't even thought about packing yet. We aren't all blessed with infinitely roomy cars
Leaving in the morning at 10am, meet up outside Dublin with some mates in another car, then head down to Rosslare for the 4pm overnight crossing to Roscoff. Arrive into France on Thursday morning, stop off for some lunch around Rennes somewhere, hit the InterMarche for supplies, then hopefully arrive at the circuit in the afternoon
Think the car is pretty much ready, nearly all packed with just a couple of bags left to put in. Handy having an estate for these sort of things, even if it's probably got a smaller load capacity than a new Polo these days!
Can't wait now!

They do if their car is so small they have no idea what will fit in it and what will be left behind!TimLambert7 said:

Yes, I know I'll be the one who is messing around in the early hours of Friday morning trying to fit my clothes for the weekend in the glove box because I haven't judged the boot space correctly! We aren't all blessed with infinitely roomy cars
