LMC - Thoughts on the event
Discussion
Had a great time again. Been going sine 2004 , so these days its nearly all about the journey rather than the destination . Had a great few days out on the road with a bunch of mates, pretty much all there & back cross country with not a toll road insite
Weather effected the atmosphere unfortunately, but I'll be back for 2016 8)

My first LMC, and my personal highlights were:
- all sorts of ace stuff
Roll on 2016, but need to decide what will take its place for our trip next year
We've started doing a alternate trip to italy when the Classic isn't on. Last year was a trip to Lake Garda, next year we're going to Como. Just a road trip, lots of driving, sightseeing a a few days at the destination.- all sorts of ace stuff

That sounds like a great idea. We got down as far as Munich and Salzburg last summer, and would have loved to hit Italy but ran out of timeI have been to every LMC since they started and always enjoy it immensely.
I love the drive down and back, the campsite banter, Arnage town and watching the event from as many vantage points as we can fit it.
This year I did find the gaps between the races really frustrating. It seamed like that the ACO had tried to find as many ways to limit live track time as possible. The mock Le Mans starts were rather silly as they meant nothing, and where the eck did they go for the formation laps with some of them taking 30 mins+.
Overall though I love Le Mans and love seeing these cars up close in the paddocks and on the track. I will be back but I do hope that the ACO take note of the feedback and respond by keeping the dead track time to a minimum in 2016.

My first Le Mans classic and absolutely loved it. Good convoy there and back, camping at porsche curves, some good nights out in Le Mans and Arnage. Nice atmosphere and met a lot of new people. Huge collection of special cars and nice to see them being used in anger.
Understand some of the criticisms being made but overall a fantastic event and experience for any car fan.
Roll on 2 years time!
