Got the Farmhouse booked for 2 weeks with race weekend being the middle weekend, I cannot wait missed the last two years. The whole family is going wife two daughters their partners and the grand kids. The grand son is a bit to young for the race but thought we might take him up for quali or practice. My two son in laws have never been to a race meeting so just what to see their faces when they are round the track. Roll on next June

Just booked with SpeedChills on Bleu Sud after 3 years on the PH site. Food this year was pretty poor so decided to try somewhere else.

Have rebooked the Thomas Cook AirTrack village, (this year was our first time at that site after several years on Houx Annex) and the food and entertainment was superb

This year was my first time at Le Mans - would have gone back to the PH private camping next year but for the food, I'll be trying somewhere else I think, either Team Langoustine or Thomas Cook I think. Looking forward to 2015 already!

I spoke to Brian at 1st Tickets on the subject of food & they had it resolved for the LM Classic 2 weeks later. They have also said they have decided not to offer as many catering spaces next yr & the local supplied baked beans have supposedly been (pardon the pun) banned - when we went in 2013 the catering with PH was excellent.

we went with 1st but ended up in expo, we didn't even know there was catering until after the event! How does it work? Do you have to pay extra i take it or do you pay when you are there?

I'd quite like to try somewhere else anyway to be honest - I enjoyed the 1st tickets private camping (always felt safe etc), I just think I'd rather find out sooner rather than later if there is somewhere else within the set up that I might like more. Shouldn't have made it sound like it was just the food that was making me think of trying something different.

you pay up front for brekkie & evening meals & choose a time at the start for all meals & then turn up & hand your food tickets over....Unfortunately you can't make your mind to have the food option once you are there

The food this year was embarrassing. Last year was edible, 2012 was excellent (but that was Laverstoke Park Farm.

SpeedChills next year is going to cost us what PH cost this year.

We chose Wollek the first year. You do realise it's wooden benches with no backs and the stand has no roof don't you? The only screen is to the side too.

I've used Wolleck before. I've been sat in other "coverd" tribunes in the past and been freezing cold. So I know what to expect.
