House rentals in Le Mans?

I'm looking to rent a house for the week in Le Mans town for 7 of us. Anyone have any suggestions?
So far seems like most landlords turn their holiday lettings into vastly expensive B&B's over the weekend making a crappy house a €700/per night proposition.

Looks like we're camping again.

Most seem to be booked on a continuing basis or, as you've found out, the prices are higher than a high thing.

If you have a group of 20, I know of a Chateau available, only €27,000 but at least that's for a whole week!

I've found rentals for people before, but I suggest you firstly contact the Tourist Office in Le Mans. They will most probably be able to help you. But don't expect that it'll be cheap, whereas B&B starts around 50€ per night.

Thanks for the help and PM's. It's looking like we will be camping but hopefully a bit further towards glamping. One thing that was surprising was someone suggested renting a place for 3 months as that's cheaper!

We stayed at a Chateau with 18 other guests for this years classic. We had a great time, the roads were pretty good to the circuit and the PJ's got to stretch their legs. Was thinking of going again for the 24 hr next year and considering staying at the same place. Plenty of space for the cars and grounds to explore away from the track, if anyone is interested.
