I'm starting plans early for next year. Especially with me camping I just want to try and compile all of your suggestions.

Last year I mainly stayed at the track and only did the museum?

So just to tell you that I'm staying in AA EPINETTES for the full week from the Sunday before till the Sunday after. So I have a week to spend with what I want to do.

So if you have any suggestions on what I should do? Like places I should visit or Restaurants? What should I do when I'm at the track both when I'm watching the racing and in the evening? I do possibly want to walk the track. Are people allowed into the support paddocks without any passes?

Thank you to everyone.

Well,if you have a week you can do the scrutineering in town. Not exciting, but you can can see the cars and crews close up, meet some drivers, get decent close up shots. Visit the villages and enjoy a coffee before the crowds come. Also visit parts of the track you may not visit during them race, Arnage, Mulsanne, Porsche Curves, Chapelle etc. Enjoy some drives on great roads as well, some lovely places to visit so,get out there and enjoy the driving.

Go into the city centre on the tram from the circuit and marvel at the architecture or just sit in the sunshine drinking wine/beer with everyone else....

If you have a car, drive down to Chartres-sur-le-loir and visit the Hotel de France in the main square.

Or if you are into culture and touristy things go a little further to the Loire Valley and its many Chateaux.

For those into military history the Musée des Blindés in Saumur is worth a visit.
