Also if you purchase one of the first 2000 weekend or Sunday tickets then you will receive a place on the Sunday pit walk for free!

Wasn't the pit walk free this year anyway?

It was last year but the queues to see Webber were huge so looks like they are limiting it.

How do you know if you are one of the 1st 2000?

Will they send you a seperate confirmation? Have got the tickets but nothing mentioned about the Pit walk, so I assume no mention means not in the 1st 2000?

Not sure. My tickets had seat numbers of 10 and 11 even though its not numbered seating. I've emailed them to confirm.

Been to WEC Silverstone every year since it became the WEC in 2012, tickets usually arrive just a couple of weeks before the race weekend.

What's the atmo like at whittlebury? I've stayed there before, does the WEC bring a decent crowd there that will mingle?

I'm trying to weigh up whether to do Silverstone for the WEC, or juust wait till Le Mans...

I booked last night! Taking my eldest on his first race trip in preparation for his dazzling climb to the top step at Le Mans and then on to f1 world champion. Would very much like to camp though on the Saturday night. I know kids are free but do they still need a ticket? There was no option on there to declare the boy.

Dadford rd camping could be the answer.you can pay for the night rather than the weekend and its not a tractor then minibus distance away.

Camping at the WEC last year at Whittlebury was good. Quite a good setup and plenty of people there.. but by christ was it cold!! only gripe was that it was a fair walk to the circuit.
Whittlebury are selling out fast this year, no electric hookup left.

Dispite the website not saying so, Woodlands ARE doing WEC this year. They emailed me to say details will be on their website in the next couple of weeks.

Bit of a update on the pitlane walk. I bought my tickets this morning then tweeted silverstone, they said that they are near the 2000 mark and will send an email once this figure is met to confirm if your in luck. Hope this helps

I got my pitwalk confirmed too! Times are:

10am – 10:45am – last entry is 20mins before the end of the pit walk
10:05am – 10:35am – Autograph session (this is part of the pit walk)
