Well i've booked earlier than normal this year and gone for the Portsmouth > Caen option overnight Tues so i'll be starting my 24hr weekend from about Wed noon ! smile

It says I can allow "friends and family" to use my code for discounts on the Brittany Ferries route - So any of my friends on here that want to try it let me know if it works wink

Seems to work for me however booked in November and prices still the same however the cabin we have is now sold out on the way back. The Code knocked off about £30, which is what the non refundable deposit is so not worth cancelling and rebooking.

Anyone booking a fresh booking this seems worth it!

Thanks though.

Good news it looks like it will work for others.

Reading on in this little booklet, it says I get a £10 credit also so I might be able to put some towards next years crossing !!! (there must be some small print I am missing it can't be that simple)

Although you've made the booking already, if you phone them up and give them the code, they will apply the discount to your booking.

OP - a word of caution - someone posted their Club Voyage membership number on a website a few years ago (4, I think) and Brittany stopped other folk using it. I don't think it affected the member themself, tho - they got a message from BF saying it wasn't in the spirit of the offer, or similar. From recollection you can amass up to £150 worth of £10 referrals.

Just used the code by ringing Brittany Ferries and amending our booking which we made in November. We saved £39 which means we owe you a beer. Going on the Sunday before the race returning Monday after via Plymouth Roscoff. Thanks again.

You are a true friend and have just saved me £30 on an existing booking. Many thanks smile

With all this good karma I'm sure you'll have an excellent Le Mans!

Hello everyone,

I've had an email this afternoon from a chap at Brittany and apparantly it's only for >> close << friends and family and it's in their T&C's although I don't remember reading it in the booklet they posted me, whoops.

I'm hoping in the spirit of there being no intentional deception they will simply leave it as it is now but sorry, no more LM24 discounts available via this method which is a result as I was getting worried how many Christmas cards and presents I was going to have to mail next year with the extended group of friends and family I had won !!!

See you all in a few months smile
