I know I started this thread, and I've posted that I'm taking the MX5 NA and then the Freelander.
Now it looks like I've got another driver to take the Freelander so I can take the MX5, just means I need to check my spelling for Ros Beouf or "Rosbif" (thanks 24Lemons), fortunately I have a friend who speaks French so I can check this out properly.
Also I've heard that www.stickers4.com are moving so we need to order any bespoke requirements before the end of March.

What are the french plod like when it comes to replica police cars? I'm wondering about marketing my my car up like an italian Polizia car but don't want any bother so won't f they are likely to get uppity over it

I didn't have a problem with my blue Alfa with Carabineri emblazoned on it last year, though I did only use the blue strobe on the camp site (acquired from Amazon)!. In 2013 there was a group that had different police logos on the cars....it was an arresting sight as we cruised down the autoroute - look on the 2013 thread for the images

Les flics have a laisez faire attitude to foreign police impersonation. Do a search for Team Hot Fuzz from 2013.

Mind you it was priceless when they were blocking the road turning into the Friday Service and the Gendarmerie turned up behind them with the blues and sirens going.

Never understood this desire to say to the French police - "Look at me here I am and I am probably going too fast/had a beer/jumped a light etc etc !!"

We had a car with lights and siren discussed it with le flics who basically said so long as you don't use them on the road they don't care. Marked up cars are fine just obviously if you stick lights or a siren on only use it in the campsite. Really helps when the campsites are busy to move people out the way!

Does anyone have a recommendation of a company who can do special to order decals for a reasonable price? I want to order a whole bunch to do a full on AM Racing Vantage copy, but not a full wrap, just individual decals.
