Hi Lowdrag - thanks for the 'heads up' about Brittany already getting booked up for the Le Mans weekend. I've never booked this early for the race but have just completed my booking over the phone and I was told that bookings for race weekend are already ahead of expectations. I'm also paying about £40 less than last year. Going out next year Portsmouth - Caen but returning to Portsmouth from Le Havre on the Monday 'economy' service. Any views on this service from those who have already used it would be welcome.

Service good get a cabin if you can its a long trip. Also watch out for the loading ramp if you have a low level car at Portsmouth end. Fill up before you go on the ferry, the first petrol station in France does not take all types of cards.

Thanks See Ya. Have now booked a cabin, doesn't seem as there is much in the way of 'facilities' but as long as we can get some basic grub and a bit of shut eye before the drive home that's all we'll need after a few days of moderate excess at our annual pilgrimage!
