Wish I'd never started this thread now, the pictures have caused me to be lead astray on ebay

Good idea with class winners.. albeit a bit pricey
They can all be had for under £50 smile which is "cheap" compared to some of the others laugh

Sorry for the late reply - bought it for £90 back in 2010 from here http://www.mementoexclusives.com/

No idea where you'd get one now I'm afraid!

I think you'll find, to avoid confusion, that the ACO have now settled on the Classics in odd years and Group C's in even years. This then sees the classic here when there is no Le Mans Classic. That is, until the ACO changes its mind - again.

Awesome. Now to decide where to watch from. Tempted by Arnage, but the howl of the Lola as it accelerates on the straight away from Mulsanne is pretty special...only problem is traffic getting back to camp before making the walk to the village for the start of the main race.

We had a change and watched the start at Arnage last year, then went to the main circuit about 6, no traffic! It was awesome!

I think we're planning to have had a few beers by 6! I'll sober up later though, I really want to see dawn at Arnage again this year.

Watched the classic support race at Arnage a few years ago and had no problems getting back to camp, but I think that race finished a fair bit earlier.

i've watched the support races from porsche curves for the last few years, and will try to do the same this year (although it will be from the other side of the road by the sounds of it!). plenty of time to get back from there to the stands for the start.

i've done arnage for the start on a few occasions too ... no trouble getting back 'to town' from there early evening but i think it might be a bit trying just before the start ... unless you have a bike.

i think i prefer arnage at night/dawn tbh ... i'll make the treck down there during the main event.
