Will venture forth in the Fezza again.

Were you in Area 24 last year?

I've got several pictures of my 997 parked next to yours if so...
Yes mate. That was us.

Same as last year for me, armchair comfort, loads of room and it sort of goes fine in that supercharged kind of way! smile

We have a great convoy again this year, although we'll be arriving in 2 or 3 different groups so the first time that we'll all be together is on the Friday for a drive from our lodgings to La Chartre for lunch at Hotel De France

I'll be in my Aston V12 Vantage Roadster, together with
Aston DB9
Ferrari 458 Speciale
Porsche Boxster Spyder
Porsche 918
Porsche Carrera GT
Lambo Huracan
Audi R8 Spider
plus one undecided
and an Audi A8 4.2 TDI...............

Would i be right to assume the A8 is to carry the luggage???

It's a fair guess, but actually it's just that one of my mates is 'between' 2nd cars (normally an Aston) and he took delivery of his brand new A8 DD literally this week, so fancies a run out in it

It's very very quick for a big heavy saloon to be fair

Having said that, we will be the only 2 going back to Mcr so I may well use his boot if we get chance to stock up on some wine in france :-)

IMO one of the best cars for the trip to Le Mans. Did it in an S4 a few years ago and nice balance of performance and comfort

10th time in this since 2005 smile (this pic is from 2010 in Houx Annexe on Monday morning)
These are the ticket.... Roll up, hand brake on. Done. No faffing.
To be honest we faff a bit in Tertre Rouge, especially digging the front wheels into the slope to get it level, then we spend the rest of the time faffing with the Satellite dish, bbq, beer fridge and freezers, lights, flag pole and wind out awning but the best bit is definitely the warm comfortable beds and if it rains it just runs off smile
