I hope Eybic & the team can find somewhere that doesn't get gridlocked too badly otherwise I might just leave the car at the campsite sadly and walk to the event....could we not have it closer to the circuit?!
We will be doing our Friday service inside the circuit this year so no driving will be necessary I'm sorry for being so cryptic but until everything is 100% confirmed I don't want to make promises.eybic said:

It's going to be a busy Friday then!.....shall we start a sweep stake on which Team could host us for the PHFS?! Thanks for the cryptic clue Eybic This is like an episode of Columbo!
So, if it's inside the circuit with no driving required, that suggests no cars being parked up. Not so much a service, more of a gathering. I doubt (but would like to be wrong) that any teams would permit access on the day the pit lane is open as this adds to all sorts of issues, plus they've got enough to do.
So, inside circuit, not in pits, maybe at the karting? But thats usually running full tilt so doubt that. So where is available, inside, no cars, not currently in use.......I'm putting my #33 biere on the football stadium. Plenty of hard standing parking if I remember, may not be used until race day, could be on the pitch, bbq, bar........
Or of course I'm completely wrong and should just stop being so keen to know whats happening.

I would have thought that the Porsche Centre would have been heavily used by the Porker big wigs and high rollers all weekend. Without parking it's not much use for those folk who drive to the circuit. Looks like Friday will be pits, CBW, Hundaries and Mulsanne again then (hangover depending).
Do you mean Hunaudières my dear boy Seriously, even though I have internal parking, I can't see me being there either. Seems as if the management are winging it this year now that Garlic and whatshisname have left. And certainly not the Mulsanne in the afternoon if my past recollections are anything to go by. I prefer to keep my car in one piece.
Hi everyone,
Apologies for the thus-far cryptic nature of our LM activities - I can categorically assure you that it is in no way related to the management "not being bothered". In fact, I can boldly say that PH's activities at LM24 this year will surpass anything that has gone before it.
However, we're just waiting for a few pieces of the puzzle to fall into place before the big announcement... please be patient as it is almost time and all will be revealed!
Cheers

Indeed I do, sorry, after 11 years you'd have thought I know how to spell it. The Mulsanne thing I refer to was the "Welcome on Track" thing they did last year. Got a decent picture taken infront of some screen then parked up on the track and wandered back for a beer. Had a bit of a wait for the picture to be printed though (more beer time).Gassing Station | Le Mans | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
