Second year at LM

Didn't buy Grandstand tickets last year but fancy it this time

Which stand do people recommend? Looks like they're selling out fast already.

Many are available still, but you will have to go via an agency.
ACO T17/18 is the best with toilets/showers bars etc. But for views my fav is Sommer T16. Opposite the pit exit and big screen, slightly angled so a decent view of the pit straight and Dunlop chicane.
T19-T21 opposite the pits are all excellent for build up and pit action
T34 above the pits IMHO is not a good choice.

Last year I bought a ticket for Tribune 1, which was available only very near the race date and for collection from a ticket office near the circuit. The distance from T3 is not a great deal though and having stood underneath T3 last year thinking about whether I had bought the right Grandstand ticket I came to the conclusion that whilst I was happy with my choice, T3 would not have been bad either.

T1 may be made available again nearer the race date but it will be so close to the date that there will not be time to have the ticket posted and you have to drive or walk a fair few miles to a ticket office outside the circuit, which if I'm honest was a bit if a pain.

So this year I have just bought a Ticket for T3 in order that I can have it posted to me and leave me with no need to go and find where to collect it from.

Having used their virtual view from T3 I think I will be happy with the view. It covers the cars coming down from the Dunlop Bridge and has a big screen opposite. Importantly, it covers you if it rains.

I bought mine straight from the ACO, as I have my camping pass but will buy the circuit ticket there as I have friends who are ACO members and they will get me the circuit ticket a little cheaper. Circuit tickets won't run out you see.

I hope this helps.

I made the same reply to a similar question by someone else specifically about T3 but don't know if you would read both so have replied here too.
